Little Tonino’s Pizzeria Cafe

I have had Little Tonino’s delivery many times, admittedly not the best ever, but the pizza is always fresh and hot. The last time was something I never expected; buyer beware. On a very busy Friday nite, I waited an hour-​and-​a-​half for a large pie. I called at the hour mark to let them know how late it was getting and they promised it would b there soon. My daughter had begun to cry because it was after 8pm and dinner had not arrived. Finally the pizza and fried calamari arrived. I opened the door and said to the deliveryman «wow, I never waited so long for delivery» as I reached to get the pizza. The delivery guy chucked the pizza at me, turned his back, and I heard him call me an A^*HOLE. I was closing the door when it dawned on me what had happened. I opened it and said «excuse me, what did u say?!» He started screaming at me from my porch «YOU GOT SOME ATTITUDE «I was shocked, my husband walked toward the door in disbelief, he said WHAT??? The delivery guy continued to scream at us as he walked away. NO APOLOGY which is what should have been offered for lateness so that it would not reflect badly on his boss. I hadn’t even raised my voice… but I felt like chucking the soggy cold pizza in his face. The calamari was salty and like cardboard. terrible experience. I fear the guy will come back to do something else… do not get a delivery from them, a psychopath may b waiting on the other side. PS he wasn’t fired.

Bleech, I live a block away and I won’t eat it. The classic canned sauce and prepackaged dough slice. Better than the franchise places, but not worthy of your consideration.

Solid, no gimmicks pizza at a good price. They do it right. Friendly staff and delivery guys, and the delivery is usually quick. This is our go-​to spot for delivery in the neighborhood. It’s a good place to stop in with the kid for a slice, but kinda bare-​bones as a place for dinner.
Note that it’s across the street from a big playground, and next door to an ice-​cream place, so especially in the summer they get a lot of families & little kids.

The chicken francaise pizza is absolutely out of this world. However, be prepared to wait, because they make the chicken from scratch for the pizza, making it absolutely irresistible. I have ordered from them several times and the consistency is definitely there.
I’ve dined in at their location as well and the staff is friendly and professional. I have tried other things off their menu and I would be remiss if I didn’t say how much I enjoyed those items as well.

They charge tax? Goodbye. You got me once, that’s it.

I really like their wings I always get those and white pie it has a nice touch of garlic flavor. On Friday’s they can get really busy and delivery can be slow so be patient.

Zero stars required. All fronts… Terrible. Not good for anything. Not even a bathroom

The best pizza in the neighborhood! Ever since I found this place I cannot order pizza from anywhere else. There godfather pizza is amazing!!! If I could I would eat it everyday :-) I have never tasted such a yummy chewy crust.

I live in the neighborhood and this is our go to pizza. They always deliver sooner than quoted. And the guys are friendly enough.
I always crisp the pizza up in the cast iron skillet upon delivery. The dough is the best! I’m not really looking for a zesty sauce or salty cheese like some of the other reviews have stated. I think for a good tasting slice, this is your place. In fact, walking in and grabbing a $ 3 slice is so satisfying.

So bland. The guys who work there are really nice though.
It’s like they don’t put any salt in the cheese or the sauce.
A little salt and seasoning would go a long way.
Maybe this business is just a tax write-​off?

My wife and I just moved into the neighborhood and wanted to try these guys out. The pizza arrived really quickly but unfortunately was really under-​done. The dough was sweet and the cheese was really bland and rubbery. The sauce was ok and the dispatcher and delivery guy were really nice though. Probably not going to order from them again.

My husband ADORES this place. We order it for everyone who comes into town. The staff is super friendly and helpful, and the pizza has the best red sauce and the perfect amount of cheese.
For me personally, the dough is just a little too thick. I love a crispy, cooked crust. BUT, their eggplant roll is to die for! They are out of it a lot, though, probably because it’s so good! Second best roll: Spinach roll.

I gave it two stars instead of one because they deliver. I would have been way more upset if I had to get off the couch.
Pizza crust was soft, the pepperoni had no flavor, like I literally did not taste it at all. The whole pizza really had no flavor. The garlic knots were over cooked and dry with no flavor. I would not ever eat here again.

A Brooklynite originally from Buffalo– I am very picky when it comes to pizza and chicken wings. Since moving to Park Slope in 2009, I tried pretty much every pizza place in the area and was not impressed. I used to tell friends that there was «no such thing as good Park Slope pizza.» That was before discovering Little Tonino’s– their sauce is delicious, good cheese, awesome crust! I went from never ordering pizza to ordering from Tonino’s a couple times a month. Yummy.

I am very picky when it comes to pizza crust, and theirs is perfect. Try the vodka sauce pizza. The guys who work here are very nice, too.

my family and i usually go to korner pizza but we wanted to try something different because korner is too damn expensive. the pizza is ok here but i would definitely come here because of better prices.

Nice place! They have anything that you need to survive. Also, the guys are extremely cordials. :)

I love the pizza, but anyone who would order a salad from this place is just deluded. This is not a fine Italian restaurant, it’s a neighborhood pizza joint for heaven’s sake.
They often say it’ll be 45 minutes, but it never is. The people are friendly to those who are friendly to them, but they don’t suffer fools gladly. If you go in with an attitude, that’s what you’ll get back.
They make a great pie and they don’t have much competition, so they don’t have to suck up or try very hard. But the pizza is very tasty, and they will continue to be our go-​to for pizza night.

My girlfriend and I ordered four slices between us, and I tasted each of them. One was a straight pepperoni slice, and it was the best of the bunch. The others were a Cesar salad slice, one with feta, tomatoes and basil, and a spicy chicken slice. The pepperoni had the most flavor, but none of the slices were very hot. The place was not busy, and there was no reason that I could see to hurry the process along, but the guys working there gave the slices too brief a stint in the oven. When the guy told me it was fifteen bucks and change for four slices and no drinks I was a bit shocked. I had already eaten by then, so the sticker shock did not affect, either positively or negatively, my eating experience.
Given the glowing reviews, I wonder if maybe I caught them on a bad day, but at those prices I don’t see myself going back for a second sample.
