Dont like this place, honestly people is angry in there specially a dude by the name of Steve who thinks he owns the place and that he also owns you. I try asking him a question and he treated me if I was his pet.

I hadn’t shopped in this store for years so I as drove past I decided to stop and check it out. Boy oh boy, was I surprised when I walked into the store only to find everything on racks in a mess, I thought that maybe I accidentally walked into Marshall’s. It seems as if this store has clearly fell off the pedestal that it once was on. The clothing is old, overpriced for past season clothing and certain pieces were unappealing to me. If I stay in this store for five minutes then that was too long.

This store used to be so much better. It is really disappointing to me how far down hill it has fallen. I mean common this store has been opened since the late 40’s, they should be ashamed of how horrible it is now. For nearly five years now, they have been getting in horrible selections of old season, out of style clothing. Everything is poorly organized, and in true need of a face lift. Everything is way overpriced for way out of season merchandise. The store looks shabby, the carpets are grimy, the paint is peeling. Definitely not a retail therapy experience. As soon as you walk in the little teenage workers stare you down, check out what you are wearing, and rate if you’re worth their not so worthy words of wisdom. Last time i was there i was greeted by a nasally«heeey ya buyin’ that a wat? meanwhile, I had basically just walked in the store, and was barely even seriously looking at any of their merchandise. They have some limited selection of designer jeans.(7 for all mankind, j brand, joe’s, AG, Diesel). But they’re never have my petite size on the floor or in stock. They usually have only 3 styles of each brand as well that are like two seasons old. They used to have loads of Juicy Couture… Gone? Why? I miss you, come back! They never have anything on sale, ew. Sales are a fantastic way to grab customers, and make them feel comforted and specifically makes my money want to be spent more easily. I just get bad vibes going in here recently. none of the merchandise ever pulled my attention(and trust me, i’m a big time shopaholic). The staff were complete turn offs to my shopping experience here. Unhelpful, unfriendly, UNPROFESSIONAL! I’m sorry Lester’s, but the good old days for you are far gone. I hope that soon you are lucky enough to get back on your feet. But I’m afraid you are slowly disappearing into the dust.

When i was 7 yrs old my 1st fancy pair of shoes were purchased from Lester’s. Now that i have my own kids, that’s where i go to get their shoes. I was very happy and satisfied until yesterday. I went in to exchange a pair of croc slippers and told the guy behind the counter that i wanted a larger size, well i guess i said too much because he basically waved his hand around gesturing that i should get to the point. It didn’t sink in right away– that he could be so rude… i was a customer and i didn’t believe i should be treated that way. There are 2 amazing Russian guys that work there, they are really knowledgeable and helpful. As for the snotty rude bald guy and the rude Elvis one they may be knowledgeable but if you are not buying 7 pairs at a time they want you out. They like to cater to a specific clientele and are rude to others. Shoes are pricey but they also have great sales on occasion. I own my own business and deal with customers all day, i would never treat a customer they way they treat theirs. Their tone changes depending on who is shopping. I will still continue to shop here but will wait for the 2 helpful guys instead of feeling like I’m annoying someone or talking too much. Pretty disappointing expense, maybe its time for them to retire– those guys have been working there since i was small(27 years) …IFYOU’RENOTGOINGTOBENICEJUSTSTAYHOME.

I have been a regular at Lesters for many years. Recently shopping for my daughter who is now 17 months old. I regularly find amazing things for her clothing wise, and even bought her several pairs of shoes at their shoe store. One comment about the shoe store though is I wish they have a little larger variety of shoes for toddlers especially season appropriate shoes. Clothes are divine they have great designers — Juicy, Monnalisa, Diesel etc and have regular sales so you can stock up for next year. A great layette and newborn section also which make great gifts!
