A lot has changed around these parts since my last review over 6 months ago.
Lee Gardens has largely expanded on the products that they carry. This is the most obvious in the quality and quantity of fresh fruit and vegetables that are now offered. And, they are cheap!
There also are a lot more baked goods/​breads and frozen food items.
These days, this joint is definitely leaning more towards a supermarket than a bodega.
I seriously love this place. It’s a great staple of the neighborhood AND the folks that work here are super nice. I couldn’t ask for much more.

Not a very friendly place. They do however, seem to have a little bit of everything. If it happens to be on your walk home then you just might end up stopping here occasionally.
