Hello, my name is Jeffrey B. Peltz. I was born in and currently reside in Brooklyn. I attended New York City public schools. In 1980 I graduated from the College of Staten Island with highest honors. In 1983 I graduated from Pace Law School in White Plains, NY. In 1983 I was admitted to practice law in New Jersey and in 1984 in New York. From 1984 to 1985 I was a partner in the law firm of Peltz & McSweeney located in Fair Lawn, New Jersey. I returned to Brooklyn in 1986 and founded the law firm of Jeffrey B. Peltz, P.C. at 26 Court Street in Brooklyn. I am a member of the Brooklyn Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association. I am also admiited to practice in New Jersey, where I have an office in Newark. Over the years I have helped over 20,000 clients with bankruptcy, family law and immigration. My aim has always been to solve my clients problems with as little stress as possible at a reasonable fee.
