Laura’s Place

I’m getting married in a few weeks and wanted to get my dress altered. I thought I’d find a place that was convenient and professional. Boy, was I wrong about this place. They’re so racist and exclusive. I should’ve known better because of the location. It wasn’t a store front, it was on the second floor in a residential building. I walked into a cracked open door, it was really shady and small inside. Everyone obviously knew I was standing there, waiting to be helped, but no one bothered to even say a word to me. I waited for ten minutes, for someone to help me, but still no one did. So I finally asked one of the staffs there, if Laura’s was available? She mumbled something in hebrew to the girl next to her and snapped at me that «she’s busy». I immediately turned around and walked out. I def do not recommend this place, not just because of the way they treated me, but also because the place looked very unorganized and cluttered. Come to think of it, I’m glad I didn’t leave my dress with them.

The cap sleeves that they added to the dress for my wedding reception worked just fine, and held up through all the dancing. I highly recommend.

Went in several times to fix high end dresses and to hem some pants. I can honestly say Laura has made my wardrobe fit me like a glove. I’m a petite girl a lot of clothes I buy even in Petite sizes are too large, she alters them in a way I can’t even tell where she has taken it in, it just looks like it was made for me. Completely in love love with this place. Laura is friendly and the prices are amazing! Highly recommended!

I had to have straps on a dress shortened, and Laura did an excellent job! She was extremely friendly and professional and the alterations were done in a timely manner. The price was very reasonable, and now my dress fits great! I was very satisfied with the results and will definitely return.
