History

Established in 2014.

Lap of Luxury started Nov 2014. It was just suppose to be a chair rental business at first. Being the go to person to find things for friends I was in search of two chairs for a baby shower for two friends and realized that the demand was high and the supply was low. This made me come up with the idea to customize my own chairs and start renting them. With business going well I then decided to get into providing uplighting and drapery. I felt that sometimes the area would be too plain and it would look better if the chair had a better background. I taught myself how to drape and created ideas for my events in my free time. Although it is a lot of work I couldn’t see myself doing anything else. I love what I do and Im still learning more everyday
