Went here because because of an infection, Dr. Lam looked at it for 5 seconds and prescribed me antibiotics. Over the next 3 days my tongue starts to develop oral thrush, called the front desk to ask Dr. Lam if I should still continue taking the antibiotics due to the white lesions on my tongue. The front desk girl picked up and while I was explaining my problem to her in cantonese, she briskly interrupted me and said«then don’t eat it»(referring to the antibiotics). Okay… first of all are you the doctor? Did you went to med/dental school? Because I’m pretty sure you didn’t that’s why you still a receptionist… Anyways, like the previous two reviews had stated, the receptionists are untrained and lack professionalism. Based on my experience, it seems like that they are more annoyed at listening to your problems than actually trying to help you. It’s unfortunate to see that there are people like these who are working in healthcare.

everything that the other reviewer said is true about this place. its pretty much a madhouse in there and the patients don’t know any better or don’t have the option of finding a better dentist due to their insurance. I have bad insurance and i can’t find a good oral surgeon so Dr. Lam referred me to this terrible guy(I haven’t went though, still looking). you wait an hour to see the dentist but shes only in the room for 5 – 10 minutes and will probably bill you for everything she can. its sad to see that this is what healthcare is these days, just a bunch of statistics. they want to see as many patients as possible and bill for as many things as possible without caring for your actual needs.

I’m an asian female who’s been to Dr Lam for over 4 years and have recently changed dentists. She’s really nice as a person but the overall professionalism is terrible. The wait can take 1.5 to 2 hrs because the appts are always overbooked and therefore Dr Lam would rush through procedures, running in and out of different rooms. The receptionists are very untrained while I do agree with the previous reviewer that the male manager is completely crazed. Although Dr Lam is a general dentist, she has performed oral surgery on me without giving me the option of seeing a proper oral surgeon. Her work has become quite shoddy over the years, leaving debris in my gums that she was too lazy to take out after the surgery and and my recent root canal on a molar is still very sensitive. Any issues I’ve brought to her attention was merely waived with a «I don’t see anything on the xray, here are some antibiotics.» This left me with a serious infection that was properly taken care of by a REAL oral surgeon(Dr. Dennis Lee on Park Row. He’s AMAZING.) The reason I’ve stayed with her for so long was merely a lapse in my judgment and believing she would always do what’s best for me. Clearly I was wrong after some serious procedures. Please stay away from this so called«dentistry» unless you want to live the rest of your life with cleanings that only take 2 minutes after 2 hours of waiting, untreated infections, and terribly executed root canals.
