Established in 2001.

In 2000 a wonderful thing happened to my family. Our daughter Lauren came into our lives. It was a very happy time for us. She was a handful, very active and happy little girl; we loved her so. As she was growing we found the need to find daycare. I search high and low for a caring, loving and safe daycare. I visited dozens of daycares in the neighborhood and no luck. On my last visit, to what could have been the 20^th daycare visit. I turned to my mother, and asked her «Do you think we can open a daycare and offer people what I myself is looking for in a daycare? My mother turn to me and answer, «We can, how can we get it going?» So, I researched, found a training site, file my application with the Dept of Health and after many prayers and sleepless nights, Knock, Knock Daycare was born. Knock, Knock Daycare became a place where parents can feel at peace for leaving their child in care. My vision has always been to be able to provide quality care, by giving our parents peace of mind.

Manager

Miriam Diaz started managing the daycare for her daughter Nilka who initially started the daycare in her own home. Miriam Diaz loves children and also found a hobby out of managing Knock Knock. Miriam also known to most as «Grandma» loves dealing with kids, as well as being apart of many toddlers lives, she enjoys teaching kids both english and spanish and lives for the moments that one cannot put into words. She is a very loving and patient person which indeed comes in handy when dealing with these bundles of joy.
