Excellent basic pizza — no frills, there is enough of that in this neighborhood anyway. Awesome slices. We always take our out-of-town guests here when they come to visit. And it’s affordable if you need to feed a lot of people.

This has been our pizza joint for years! The pizzas are always fresh, the penne a la vodka and other pasta dishes are very good. I love these guys! The deliveries are consistently good and the delivery men are especially nice and friendly. You can’t beat them!

I’ve only had the sausage parmigiana hero and it was not good. With better bread this would be a passable sandwich, but the soft roll with the sauce made the entire sandwich wet and unappetizing. The sausage used is just the slices used for the pizzas so even with a layer of sausage, the filling to bread ratio is way off.

The plain slices, pepperoni pinwheels, and garlic knots I’ve tried at this place are okay. Meets the standard. The dough is a little bready — which I enjoy. Lost a few stars because of service. It really depends on who you get, who is serving you up, but the experience ranges from insulting to just fair.

I’ve been enjoying King’s Pizza for years from their original location on the corner to the new location across the street. I order a pie well done on Fridays when I don’t feel like cooking or I stop in when craving a slice. They’ve been a neighborhood staple and I’m glad they haven’t lost their presence with all the«newcomers» to the hood. Classic, traditional NY pizza and that’s saying a lot from a New Yorker. I do love brick oven, thin crust, fancy topping, etc etc pizza too but when I want a good ol’ slice — it’s always King’s!

I don’t know if I didn’t get the best slice or what, but when I ordered a slice of pepperoni, the guy put on a few slices of pepperoni and maybe warmed up the thing for 90 seconds. When I ate it, the first thing that struck me was the creaminess of the cheese. That, and the sweetness of the sauce made it almost cloying. Finally, the dough seemed undercooked, or there was so much sauce that it made the crust kind of soggy and undercooked-like. It wasn’t the best slice I’ve had. It’s still pizza. I’m willing to give em another chance.

Thank God this exist on my way home. Garlic knots are always freshly made. The pizza and sauce are yummy, never a leftover at my house.

I love pizza. I used to like King’s Pizza. When they were the only pizza place in my neighborhood. Now that there is Nice Pizza on Franklin, that new wood burning oven pizza place on Fulton across from Met Food & Rocco’s also on Franklin there isn’t any reason to go to King’s. Those other joints have great pizza. King’s is just ok pizza. I order it for the kids. Whudda they know? But if I’m eating pizza, and I eat pizza a lot, I get it from one of those other three places near me.

I visited my sister in Brooklyn who recommended this pizza place to me and I tried it for the first time today. I definitely would not order from them again. Unilocal lists their closing time as 10:30 but they actually close at 10. I called them at 9:30 and the man who answered the phone was very short with me. Also, they did not have over half the things I asked for.(They said they were out because it was almost closing time although I called 30 minutes before closing). Delivery took 20 minutes even though its located 0.3 miles away. The pizzas were lukewarm when they arrived and had to be microwaved before I could eat them. The total for 3 slices was 10 dollars… which I don’t understand. The pizza was overall bland and oily and the mushroom pizza was absolutely OVERLOADED with weird looking mushrooms that I have never seen on any pizza. I would not even eat this pizza again if it were free.

My husband has been working in NYC and throughout that time he’s been looking for a good example of the quintessential NYC pizza, easily folded and delicious. Happily, King Pizza & Pasta Number 3 delivers! And they actually do deliver to our place, for free! We’ve only had cheese & pepperoni pies, so far, but they’ve been so good I’m sure we’ll be checking out the rest of the menu in time. Good stuff.

King Pizza, I am surprised at how pleasantly delicious you are for $ 1.50 a slice. Crunchy, chewy dough, with not too much sauce. Maybe a little greasy for me, but whoa, you totally win for being a block away from my boyfriend’s house. AND for being $ 1.50. Everyone wins!

$ 1.50 for a slice, and it was great. Are you kidding me? If you’re anywhere near Clinton Hill, this is your place.

1 star for quick service 1 star for good pizza 1 star for cheap 1 star for being below my apartment i’ve only had the cheese, but its not greasy and doesn’t require a bale of napkins to eat a slice. fortunately for them, and unfortunately for my physique, i seem to be making a regular habit of running downstairs for a slice whenever i get my hunger on. gotta love instant gratification

Haven’t had the pizza yet, but the eggplant parm(with ziti and extra sauce) & garlic knots are delicious, simple, and cheap. There’s a nice selection of beverages as well(slurpees, fountain soda, can/bottled soda, snapple in lots of flavors, etc.) The staff is very friendly as well. The only bummer is that they don’t take cards and it’s not the most inviting(i.e. not too clean, not many tables) place to sit and eat in, but that’s your average bk corner pizza spot.

Haven’t seen any mentions on how awesome the Eggplant Parm hero is. It is truly awesome. The pizza is good, sometimes I wish it were a little crispier, but its fresh simple and tasty, and a great deal, 10 bucks for a cheese pie delivered. I am pleased to have this as closest delivery option.

Very convenient place to get a slice or two considering its on the corner from where I live. The guys working behind the counter were pretty friendly and they heated up a few slices for me pretty quickly. It was cheesy, hot and delicious. I know I’m going to be back many times because of the good slices and close proximity

Yum yum yum. Pizza is great — not too heavy or oily. The garlic knots are also tasty, although be warned, they’re the type of garlic knots that when you wake up the next morning you wonder if you kept eating in your sleep. Yep, they linger. Owner is a great guy, and all staff is really cool. GREAT place.

I like this place. The pizza is yummy and their garlic knots… mmmm:-) I always stop by here when I’m in the area for a nail appointment or errands. I wish it were closer to my apartment, but I’ll take it when I can get it. The pizza is tasty, chewy and cheap. I’ve only had the plain and the garlic knots, but I always leave satisfied.

I really liked it. I had a regular slice and a pepperoni roll. The sauce is really tasty although they really skrimp on the pepperoni – I’m not kidding when I say there was 4 pieces of pepperoni wrapped in bread. It was saved by the side of sauce I bought – delicious. Love that A grade on their front door. A slice, a pepperoni roll and a bottle of water for $ 3.75. Reason number 821644 to move off Long Island.

Great utility pizza. Perfect for parties and local events. Very filling. The crust wins the show– great chew and good flavor. Recommend adding sausage or sharp cheese to enhance the flavor. Inexpensive for the large size and good quality.
