Order lunch from here regularly and no complaints at all. The lunch specials are affordable and you get a good amount of food. I usually get the three roll special and no matter the choices everything is fresh and tastes great. The bentos are also very good. My coworker loves the Salmon teriyaki. They also are the only sushi place that delivers us Sake and some days… well you know. They also come pretty fast and lately with the length of time some places take to deliver to our Red Hook office, that’s almost as important as the food.

A very solid sushi option in Park Slope with fair prices. Great lunch specials too. Their special rolls are definitely their strong suit and are excellent. The basic rolls are half price and fairly average, but you get what you pay for. The ambiance is well thought out. Lastly, the service is top-notch; patrons are greeted warmly and the food comes out fast.

This is really 3.5 stars. Kiku is just fine, perfectly adequate sushi although the rice leaves a bit to be desired and that sashimi was sliced too thick the one time I had it(frankly it was so thick I never ordered it again; guess I should try again in case the chef was just off that night). Prices are reasonable for the area, delivery is fast and service in the restaurant is very nice and helpful. If you are into rolls they have a huge selection although most of them are fairly similar in content. Their miso soup is very good as is the seaweed salad.

This place WAS the best! We used to order from here every week and we would also bring our friends over to this place, especially when we had international visitors. They were also all impressed. The staff is great, the cooks are awesome and courteous, but something changed. Their waiter staff has high turnover; I think only one main girl Anna is there all the time. Nevertheless, we began notice a bit of slacking– jumbo rolls were no longer as jumbo as they used to; white tuna sashimi started tasting a bit mushy; the rolls would come in lopsided and not all the same size(two end ones would be chopped up and sloppy). While we are struggling to find a replacement, we still like the people at this place and we are quite sad that their service is no longer on point. Another sad point to make; we have been ordering here every week for over 6 years, and when we call in, they know who we are, and so I would assume that they would not try to cut corners or give us bad product, so I feel a little betrayed. It is silly of me to say– we are talking about sushi here, but I do know. This play was totally great. We might give it a rest and come back to give them another chance.

Good sushi!! We got special rolls and we enjoyed them. The seaweed salad was huge and very good, too. Nice staff. Only the miso was not 5 star.

Lovely quiet little sushi joint in Park Slope. Stopped off here on a solo stroll around the area, and needed a bite to eat. It was hot out, and Kiku provided a divine oasis. Great, chilled music, attentive service, delicious food. Perfect place for a quiet meal, either solo or with company. If I find myself back in the area I’d go back for sure.

I have been eating at least one lunch per week at Kiku for the past 5 years and it has always been spectacular and affordable. Today is no exception. The food is always excellently prepared and plated in a professional presentation. The owners, Andy and Anna help make the restaurant and the dining experience even better.

So, I love going to this restaurant. The sushi is great, the staff is so sweet… however, ordering on seamless is a whole other animal. I’ve stopped ordering delivery from Kiku because the delivery man consistently calls me when he’s about an avenue away and asks me to come downstairs. After a confusing 10 minutes on the phone while I repeatedly buzz my door, I decided it’s just easier to get the sushi elsewhere. I hope the owners know this. It’s incredibly frustrating and not how they operate at the restaurant.

This is a peaceful oasis with excellent food at reasonable prices(considering how much entrees have gone up the last few years). I think they do a good later evening and takeout business, but we like to go there for an early dinner, and it’s not packed with kids. The service is great, but can be a little too attentive, it would be OK if they backed off a little more. Still, always friendly and tasty.

Very average. But nice. I got delivery and I often don’t trust sushi delivered. Nothing was fucked up! That was impressive. Drawbacks: Vegetable gyoza had little flavor Spicy tuna tall was not particularly spicy Fried oysters were heavily breaded. Everything was edible though. I’d order again Update: Don’t bother eating in. Staff are terrible. Spent $ 9.25, and I unfortunately didn’t have cash. The staff were incredibly rude.

Kiku sushi on 7th ave they have special rolls that they street walk-advertise that I like. When I go in, they know their customers – I’ve always gotten sake first thing when I’ve sat down to wait for my takeout. Takeout is also very well prepared, top tasty fish, and I’ve never been disappointed. The thing that keeps me going back again and again, is the staff service. They wanna get to know you and make you feel like a part of the restaurant.

Came here on a lunch date with a friend. I’ve walked past this spot countless times. It’s pretty ok sushi. My favorite being the sexy roll. I also ordered the seaweed salad — they gave me so much I had to take some home. Nice neighborhood sushi place. Good prices too :)

Kiki is great! The food, the staff, the ambiance, it’s all great. We had the soft shell crab and coconut lobster rolls and the avocado salad and the miso soup and the pumpkin seafood soup! Honestly, everything sounded so good that we couldn’t resist. Oh and we had the rock shrimp too! Wow, for 2 girls we were pretty hungry! Everything was really great, I can’t wait to go back!

My party and I decided to stop here when we couldn’t get a seat at a near by restaurant that shall not be named. We couldn’t see through the curtains if the placed was packed so we took a chance. The place was moderately busy. My party and I was seated right away. My friends were interested in getting something warm as it was freezing outside. Both of my friends tried the spicy miso while I had the regular miso. The soup was nothing out of the ordinary. Now here are go, everything beyond the appetizer was awesome. We had three sushi trays: yummy roll, Hawaii roll, and the coconut lobster roll. They were all great. My favorite was the coconut lobster roll because each bite was perfect. the yummy roll is basically an inside out sushi. It is more on the savory side but really good. I was proud of myself. I ate my sushi without dipping the sushi in soy sauce(a big no-no in Japan apparently). I can’t help it sometimes. But at this place, it was great because with every bite I wanted to savor the taste. Dessert time! We ordered the fried banana roll with ice cream. Yummy. The tempura banana with vanilla and whip cream? Delicious.
