Unique experience to do 1 time. The pictures are a huge scam — done on an iPhone and way overpriced. Bring a waterproof camera or GoPro if you have it instead. Friendly people and fun overall though

This placed really helped my boyfriend to impress me on our date. It was unlike any experience I ever encountered. Not only are you accompanied by funny guide but the sights are amazing. I never saw New York’s boroughs from the water and I must say it was great. at first, we started out in Brooklyn with our first stop was just off the shore of Coney Island with the Wonder Wheel in view. We then made our way to the Verrazano Bridge to hang out there for 5 – 10 minutes and then made our way to lower Manhattan around the Statue of Liberty, after that it was down the east river to the Brooklyn Bridge. I must say it really was pretty cool to see New York City from this point of view. and jetting across the water and jumping off the waves made by all the other boats in the East River. You have complete control of your jet ski. The guide is on his own jet ski and you follow along on your own and when you take breaks at each landmark, he takes pictures for you. My boyfriend and I were riding 2 up on one jet ski. The tour was about 2.5 hours but it seemed shorter because we were having so much fun!

I had an amazing time, it was so exciting to ride in such speed, the guide was cool, he took lots of photos for us, it really made my day, I already recommended it for my friends and I am going back again before this summer ends…

Incredibly fun time! Had an amazing tour with Jetty Jumpers. the staff (Anthony and Danny) were great and are real pros. See some of the best sightseeing New York has to offer while on a Waverunner? Don’t have to ask me twice. 3 hours was a great amount of time. We stopped along the way for photos, took a quick swim (optional), and had lots of fun. Perfect for locals, tourists… I’ve recommended them to all of my friends and family.

We ordered a tour for my birthday on a Tuesday morning. Since the afternoon was suppose to rain, we decided on a morning tour. We spoke to the manager the prior day and agreed to meet at the Marina at 7am. We arrived at exactly 7am and NO ONE was there. We called 10 times and no one picked up until the manager from the day prior called us back to inform us we woke her up!!!
Apparently her boss and her decided to cancel the trip given the fact that a small craft advisory was issued that morning and NOT inform us about it! Apparently they had a MISCOMMUNICATION and they assumed that one of them told us about it. The unprofessional manager continued to tell me that she only gets paid from 9am and does not set an alarm beforehand even though there are tours going out as early as 7:30. She was rude and unprofessional to tell us because she doesn’t get paid before 9 this happened. This place ruined my plans for my birthday and we woke up at 6am for nothing!

I saw some jetskis on the hudson and knew i gotta do this! So I found and booked a one hour tour with jetty jumpers for my gf and me.
As a tourist it is quite a bit away from nyc center. so also budget 120 $ for the cap to get you there. The staff is really easy going and nice. So try to be there about 15min before but dont panic if you are late. just give a call.
The jetskis are well mantained and reach a top speed of 50mph. We were the only ones taking the tour and we had soooo much fun! It is a real different NY experience which makes a ny trip even more special.
We took the photo pack for 25 $. I think it should have been for free. Everything else was just awesome!

I had an amazing time at Jetty Jumpers. I personally love going out on Wave Runners, and couldn’t think of a better experience than doing it on the Hudson and seeing/​experiencing all of the great sites in NYC.
I do have experience in Wave Runners, so for me it was just a hop on and go. As someone that has ridden before, I loved that the tour guide gave us «space» to ride as we wished in between points. The main reason I don’t like horseback riding is because they always treat you like it’s your first time and you never get to really «open it up». This instance is nothing like that! The majority of the time I was topping out (40−45mph) and had freedom to ride as I wish.
I do agree with Christine D. that if it was your first time, it could be absolutely terrifying. There was little instruction, but then again, most of the experience and getting better requires you to ride for a period of time. The waters are quite choppy though, so I don’t recommend this for first timers. It’s much easier to learn how to ride on calm waters like a lake with little boat traffic. Here, you are riding in the waters with huge barges and tour ships with wake up to 6ft. So I do agree with Christine D. that if you go, I suggest you have ridden a Wave Runner before this experience. My wife has not ridden before, and I am very glad she decided to let this just be a fun day out for me as she would’ve panicked. Much like Christine D.
Overall, amazing time, awesome Tour guide, and if I could afford it, I would definitely do it again.

Best time ever and the absolute best way to see NYC!!! Went out this past weekend for the 3 hour tour… these guys were pros. Called and spoke with Jen to set up a special birthday ride with my significant other… She was super quick and called me back when a party cancelled and 2 spots became available for the busy Labor Day weekend. The price was very reasonable given the awesome experience and memorable day. The jet skis really pick up some good speed (about 50 mph) and Chris (our guide) was friendly and awesome, giving us pointers on how to properly ride stand up and have a smoother ride. So happy we choose to get the $ 50 photo pack… Some other couples choose to take their own photos which ended up pretty much all being selfies (arm in the photo, part of a jet ski, can’t see much, you get it). Chris sent about 40+ photos to us the next day (at all the main sites and they were crisp and great photos). Overall GREAT experience! Also had a great convo with the owner when we got back to shore. Jetty Jumpers keep up the great work!

Unbelievable tour to the statue this morning. Only problem was there was another jet ski company on the water. They were coming from the Hudson maybe jersey. I dont know what happened but their guides started screaming and cursing at our group. We did not do anything wrong. Our guide from jettyjumpers kept his composure and quickly got us away from those lunatics. Definitely go to jettyjumpers. The other. Place seemed like childish goons. I cannot wait to go out with jettyjumpers again soon.

This is a great place I recommend it to everyone the staff are extremely nice and the jet skis are top of the line and really reliable and fast I had a great time and it am gonna go back with more friends!

First time Jet skier, and these guys make you feel safe. Had an absolute blast zooming around Brooklyn into the City. Will certainly be going again with these guys, and I recommend the 3 hour City tour.

Me and my gf took a jetski tour with the jettyjumpers over thr season, my girl was really nervous and un sure of what to expect, from the second we arrived at the marina we entered a totally different vibe, we forgot we were in nyc, the guide Anthony made me and my girl feel really relaxed and my girls nerves were at rest lol, the tour was awsome and the whole experience was a timr we will never forget over the top experience, we already booked a nyc tour for next season, cant wait for that next year best moment of my life

I had a pretty terrible experience with this place, however, if you have had any prior experience with jet skiing, this is probably one of the coolest things you could possibly do. Ironic that I’d recommend a place that I had a bad experience with, but I’ll explain!
Basically, the views are incredible and cannot be beat. I wanted SO BADLY to have a great time, but sadly, my lack of experience on a jet ski put me at a MAJOR disadvantage here. Yes, that would seem logical, HOWEVER, their website claims that zero experience is necessary and that you’d be given a short course on how to operate your jet ski, as well as safety instruction. I even asked the woman who I made the reservations with over the phone if I’d be better off learning how to use a jet ski somewhere else somewhere first, and she assured me I’d get a fair enough introduction to it before we ever left the marina. Good lord — no, that does not happen.
The second you get out of the marina, it’s basically a free-​for-​all. The «tour guide» (and I use that term VERY lightly, because he will speed away from you and ride 50 feet in front of everyone to basically at least direct the group as far as where to go, but in no way did he feel like a guide of any kind) let us know that if we had any trouble to just raise our hand and he would come and help. Half a minute after he said that, he sped away. I tried as best as I could to keep up with the second to last person in line, but no luck — it’s just really damn scary being out there not knowing what you’re doing, with no sign of someone there to help you at all. At one point, I panicked so much that I stopped my ski, sat there in complete tears (I’m not proud of this!!), and hoped that someone would come back for me. Ten minutes later, the «tour guide» finally did. Sadly, I wish I could say he somehow helped me, but absolutely not. He told me that the faster I went, the easier it would be. Perhaps this is correct, but when you see someone sitting there in total fear and CRYING, I’m gonna guess the last thing you should tell them to do is go faster. But yes, that was his advice, and then he sped off again.
After trying to keep up again for a while, I again stopped and waited for help. He finally came back and I explained to him that I just couldn’t do it like this — alone in the middle of the Hudson, with giant boats whizzing by me. He kept telling me to keep going, because he wanted to make sure me and the group made it to see all the sights listed on our 3-​hour tour. I understand that’s his job, but dammit, how much does he think the group is going to see if one of the members is having a panic attack in the middle of the Hudson river. At one point he told me he COULD have me sit on his ski with him and tie my jet ski onto his, but it would take too much time. Sigh. Thanks for letting me know that there was a possible solution, but you just didn’t want to do it.
After a few back and forths, I finally convinced him (aka, shook and cried until I could barely speak) that I couldn’t go on any further. He left me to catch up with the rest of the group and tell them to turn around because we had to head back. You’d think he’d slow down on the way back, realizing I was seriously having trouble, but nope. I didn’t care at that point though. While I was trying to push myself to keep up with my clearly frustrated-​at-​me «tour guide» earlier, I got ahold of myself and decided I was going to go back at whatever pace I felt comfortable with. 27 mph was good with me.
We finally got back to the marina where he let me leave, while they refueled the jet skis and took the rest of the group back out to finish the tour. I’m not gonna lie — while I had a horrendous experience the 3 hours I was out there, it was very good business of them to make sure everyone else got the full experience and got to see everything they paid for. I totally applaud them on that.
So to sum up! If you’ve had any prior jet skiing experience, I would highly highly recommend this place. If you have zero experience and have even the slightest bit of hesitation about it, DO NOT GO HERE. They may promise you some sort of instruction, but it won’t happen. Don’t go expecting to have anyone near you to help, as they will speed off and not be nearby to help.

It’s not cheap, but this is a very fun way to see the city. If you are a speed freak, you will be thrilled because you can go as fast as the machines go. I did the three hour trip, and it gave us enough time to travel from jetty jumpers near coney island to the statue of liberty and the financial district. The jet skis are well maintained, recent Yamahas. Ask to use their wet suits if you get cold — being on /​in the water for a long time and zipping along at high speeds can make for a chilly experience.

Jetskiing around NYC is probably the best idea you could ever have to see the city. At first I was extremely hesitant to pay the 300 or whatever for the 3 hour tour with my gf, but looking back, Im glad I did.
The tour was awesome, the guide was extremely cool, but I cant give it a complete 5 stars just because it was cash only, and I had a picture problem. We paid the extra 50 bucks for the tour guide to take pictures of us in front of all the monuments, but they came out terrible, and they emailed me 7 pictures total.
Bottom line: Worth the experience, and youll never forget the ride and sites on the hudson. Just bring your own camera/​gopro.

THE best thing to do in NYC and one of the greatest things I’ve ever done!
I googled «jet skiing NYC» after seeing the presenters of The Gadget Show (UK) on the Hudson on Jetty Jumpers’ skis, called up Anthony immediately after looking at the Jetty Jumpers website and booked a 3-​hour ‘tour’.
I use the inverted commas because Daniel, our guide was so friendly and relaxed that it felt more like a bunch of friends taking some jet skis out and seeing some incredible sights (one of whom knew where to go and certainly how to get a cool photo or two!). It is by far the best way to see Lady Liberty, the Brooklyn and Manhattan bridges, Coney Island, Governor’s Island and also a top contender for the best three hours of my life! Just playing around on the water with my friends on these powerful machines was more fun than I can explain.
Afterwards we even had the pleasure of grabbing a few beers and some food with Anthony and his business partner and close friend, Brian at their favourite crab shack, just around the corner. They are great guys, living their childhood dream and if you are planning a trip to New York City or live there already and you DON’T give these guys a call then you are SERIOUSLY MISSING OUT!
The boys and I can’t wait to come back and see you guys again.

I was a little bit skeptical to be quite honest, seeing as how it doesn’t appear that there is any competition in the area, but I decided to trust the positive reviews and book a tour to the Verrazanno for my girlfriends birthday as a gift. Considering I called to book on Memorial Day which I expected to be crazy busy for them, the girl on the phone was ultra-​nice and answered all questions without a hitch, despite the fact that you hear mayhem in the background.
Brian and Anthony were great throughout, friendly and overall cool guys. We got lucky because the water was pretty flat that day so we got to hit some speed. Once you get to under the bridge, you’re blown away. No matter how many times I went out on this water on a fishing boat, it just doesn’t compare to doing it on a jetski.
AND I got my pictures right away, I noticed there was one complaint about that. Made for a great gift for the girlfriend and I myself had an unforgettable experience. Highly considering getting a group of guys for the NYC tour, but that’s about 3 hours if I’m not mistaken so might need a mental prep for that.

I have now went here twice, and my first experience was definitely not a fluke. This place really is great! The first time, I went with my girlfriend and the second time with her and my friend. I have been jet-​skiing in Jamaica, Turks, Staten Island and now Brooklyn. I had no idea that this place even existed though I am certainly glad to have found them.
Both times I was lucky enough to have Joe as the one leading our group and he is genuinely just a nice/​cool dude. He tells you all the info you need, is always around while you are in the water in case you have questions, and will give you tips on standing up for more speed.
This last time I went I also met Anthony who I think runs the place. Also, a really nice guy.
You can’t go wrong here: these people are professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. If you have interest in jet-​skiing you should check this place out!

Went on an hour long tour with my boyfriend after being surprised with vouchers for Jetty Jumpers. IT WAS AWESOME! I didn’t even know they had jet-​skiing in Brooklyn!
This was my first time jet-​skiing and I was really nervous about what to expect. Had a quick run through of how to control the jet-​ski and then we were off!
I had an AMAZING time! I was able to max out at about 51 mph and had such a great experience touring along the coast of the Coney Island and Manhattan beaches!

Joe was awesome and let us have free reign once we were in the clear to take off! We met some cool dudes and were able to ride around with them. We got a chance to get off and swim around too. Experiencing Coney Island beach from out in the water was really cool :)
It was just all around great fun and really exhilarating! I would definitely go again! =)
