Jack & Tony Auto Repr Shop

Jack and Tony is the best. They are honest, kind, affordable and will tell you what exactly you need and what you don’t… and you can trust them. I have a 05 ML350 and take it to them for everything! I cant say enough about this shop. I even go to them for interior questions to see if they know someone who can do restoration work on headliners or seats upholstery.

This place is as good as it gets. Quality doesn’t come in big names or flashy shops, it comes in down to earth, honest and good character and experience. That is why I’ve frequented these mechanics for a variety of cars. They give you straight up, economical options to fix your car. They let you know what you need and what you don’t need, while looking out for your pockets. They may not have tons of cars lined up in their corner lot, but they have decades worth of loyal customers and they are loyal for a reason. These guys are great. I was looking for an auto repair shop that would answer my questions and not treat me like a stupid female. After visiting and calling several place, Jack & tony were the only ones who understood what I needed, and helped me, with an alternator problem for my 1999 Honda. And I went back for brake work. i was shown the broken parts and was told the charges up front. When more work was needed, all was totally explained. Fair price, excellent work and excellent service. Keep it up, and you’ll get the fifth star!

From my first car to my current car, all have had repairs here! My entire family brings their cars here because of the friendly service and great prices. Ask for Jack, He will never steer you wrong.

The shop might not look grand, but Jack and Tony run an excellent business.
They cater to both beaters and high end cars, and I trust them. They’re not going to run up a bunch of BS diagnostics to inflate your bill, but they are thorough and friendly. Costs are extremely reasonable, and I’ve never had to go back because something wasn’t fixed. This place has relatively few Unilocal reviews, which makes me think that Unilocalers are missing out.

My father is a car wiz and he recommended that I take my Subaru over to Jack to get my car issues fixed. Man am I glad I came here. This place doesn’t look that appealing from the outside looking in, but these guys know what they’re doing and are so incredibly honest. They put into account what your budget is and will do their absolute best to calculate what issues need to be resolved first before all else. Prices are fair and reasonable, and they get the job done at a very quick rate. Absolutely no bs!
Jack has been my main mechanic (rounder guy and he’s hilarious) since 2005, and since I travel so much between Philly and NY, I’ve had my fair share of mechanics that I’ve gone to. No one comes close to these guys. No one. I’ve been a loyal customer for 8 years, and even though I’m so far away from these guys, I always go to them for any of my issues with my Subaru. My cars been driving the same since I’ve bought it, and I’m sure a big part of it is cause of Jack and his workers. Highly recommended.

I went here because of the Unilocal reviews. My Honda is used and older and I need it to keep going without spending a ton. My radiator was leaking. I dropped it off and it was fixed in no time, with no upselling or bull. The dealer wanted to do a bunch of stuff that wasn’t necessary (like someone with a 15-​year old car has money to waste) but Tony looked at the car, got me a price, fixed it and boom. That’s it. Simple! What a relief.

I lived in Windsor Terrace for 5 years and had 2 different hand-​me-​down cars. These guys were amazing! Honest, fast, reasonable and patient in trying to explain to me why something should or must be fixed and what my options were for new or refurbished parts. Years later, I still recommend Jack & Tony to anyone living in Brooklyn.

Don’t let the «chop shop» façade or Underdog mural painted on the outside fool you. This is a great place to bring your used car for quality repairs at a fair price. We have had two god experiences here, so far. I highly recommend them.

I’ve been going to these guys for years with 3 consecutive beater Hondas. They are honest as they come, and they are aware that you can’t always pay for everything: they’ll tell you what needs work, what can wait, and what you shouldn’t bother doing. Their rates are reasonable, as mechanics go, and never had problems with the parts they put in.
Jack is the guy with the rounder face who smiles a lot (my mnemonic: «Jolly Jack»), Tony is thin and serious. Both are great guys and I don’t think I could handle owning a car in Brooklyn without them.
