Honeydew strives to partner with parents in the community to raise their children in a stimulating, social and balanced approach. Partnership with parents is encouraged in our childcare programs. We learn from parents how to best care for their children. Open lines of communication are essential to the care of the children. The parents are informed of daily activities at Honeydew and families are updated about their child’s growth and development regularly and through par¬ent-¬teacher conferences that are scheduled every six mon

Business Owner

Fabiola, the director, co-​owns Honeydew with her husband, Dave.

Dave is responsible for the maintenance of the daycare sites. Fabiola was a television producer and director before opening Honeydew. After having been in the television industry for 15 years, she realized that the highlight of her career was when she traveled all over the country interviewing children for a children’s television show. She has three children (Gabriel, 21 and Casielle, 18 and Julian, 10) and has been raising her children in a creative and intentional way. She has experienced the difficulties of raising her children and trying to have a successful career. From this struggle came the concept of Honeydew’s drop-​off service.
