History

Established in 2011.

It all started with a simple paint job 4 years ago. To my surprise, «a simple paint job» doesn’t exist. I didn’t want a DaVinci or a Picasso quality paint job. All I wanted was my entire apartment paint 1 color. What I though was simple wasn’t at all. A chunk of change later I did get my walls painted but the quality was so poor. I ended up redoing the work myself (no previous painting experience). After extensive research and many many trips to LOWES, my walls looked awesome. So what was the difference? Time and love… that’s it. The responses and reviews that I received from friends turned me on the possibility of a side biz and HomePRO was born. Since then my skills as a painter improved dramatically. I take my time and don’t rush projects. Its all about pride. HomePRO has grown from a side biz into a full time endeavor. I since partnered with a 15 year veteran in the general contracting world and HVAC arena. We both have a passion for detail and quality work.

If you were to tell me that someday I would be a house painter and own a «handyman» biz I would have called you crazy. Professionally I am (or was) a 9 to 5 guy. In my spare time I would be at my local watering hole or Prospect Park. Well, one day I needed my space painted and the painter that I hired was dead awful. Mother is the mother of necessity. Not happy with the results and «kings ransom» later (I needed 5 rooms painted), I repainted, took my time, and the results were great. Fast forward 4 years and I own a handyman biz. It’s all about the love. Your place is your sanctuary. Whether you own or rent it should be welcoming. That’s what HomePRO tries to accomplish.
