Wish there was a 6 star rating — I’ve hit them up with questions since they fixed my horrible Time Warner internet and they’ve been consistently amazing. I’ve referred them to family, friends and coworkers — everyone has thanked me! Going to work with Hi! Tech on my next project for sure. +++++

I’m not exactly a luddite, but I also feel like instead of spending hours of my life untangling the mysteries of why my particular combination of router/​modem/​macbook no longer plays well with the internet, I’d rather pay an expert to solve my tech problems for me.
Tim not only diagnosed my issues and ordered the necessary upgraded equipment for me, he also called Time Warner on my behalf to set everything up. But the best part is that while he was on the phone with them, he was able to negotiate a lower monthly rate for me by knowing the right questions to ask about their current new customer promotion. This means that my cable bill has been slashed to half of what it used to be, for connection speeds that are many times faster than what I used to get. Stated differently, I now have vastly improved home internet access, and am actually saving money for the privilege!
Also, Tim is incredibly nice, personable, and professional. I could not recommend this company and its services more highly!

I spilled a smoothie all over my mac and watched it malfunction before my eyes! But found Hi Tech really fast and gave them a call and I’m so glad I did! Tim picked up my laptop and not only cleaned everything out but also got rid of all my bugs and gave me all the latest system updates! I recommend them for those you who are NOT high tech (me) and want to protect your computer/​whatever it is. So nice and convenient. Am planning on using them again very soon!

There are few things more soul crushing than having to sit on a call with Time Warner Cable after a long day at work. A friend of mine told me about the tech helpers at Hi! Tech (such a cute name) and I decided to try them out.
Our helper came out THAT SAME DAY (!!!) to check out our internet connection. Turns out our equipment was several years outdated and not doing any favors for our newer gadgets. They set us up a new modem and a router that gave us faster download speeds than what we were using before. No more buffering for House of Cards!
Best of all they sat on the phone with Time Warner to negotiate our bill down while getting us a faster plan. That’s a win win! We’re now saving over $ 400 a year while getting internet speeds that are insanely fast and reach everywhere. Oh and they even gave us these cute cards that have our guest network listed when friends come to visit. Thanks guys!

I would highly recommend Hi! Tech as a service that has great integrity and service. The technician came to my house in a timely manner and helped me understand and solve some haunting computer problems. These are just nice guys doing honest work. It doesn’t get much better in NYC!

What a life saver! My computer at home started to make some clicking sounds and before I knew it, it wouldn’t start up. I never backed up any of my photos or work (eeps!) — so I was freaked out that I might lose the last 4 years of my life.
Now, I wouldn’t say that I am electronically challenged, but I am used to people automatically saying «Did you try rebooting?» So instead of dealing with my snarky friends and cozying up to the IT guys at work to help me with my personal laptop issues, I contacted Hi! Tech and they came to me THAT day. They not only restored my computer back to life but backed up all of my stuff onto a cute little drive and into some cloud space in case something happens in the future. I don’t really know how they made it faster but my laptop hasn’t run this well in years. Ahhh-​mazing!

I love my parents but their weekly calls for tech support were starting to complicate my social calendar. A friend of mine told me about Hi! Tech and I ended up buying a years worth of their remote monitoring service for about $ 20/​month.
A few reasons why I ended up going this route:
(1) These guys get an alert every time my folks download some sort of spyware and their computer starts to slow down or new toolbar magically shows up in their browser. They can then remove it without having to cause any stress to my parents or (more importantly) me!
(2) They’re able to keep your system running smoothly by pushing software and OS updates whenever they’re released. Much better than me spending an hour doing this when I go home for a visit.
(3) Instead of my parents picking up the phone to call me every time they have a question they can press a button on their keyboard and automatically be put in touch directly to Hi! Tech. No long messages they have to craft, just a brief note of what’s going wrong. They usually get back to you pretty quickly with an answer or a remote assistance.
All in all I’m really glad I picked this up and would recommend it to anyone who’s frequently asking friends and family for tech help or who’s been asked to be tech support for friends and family. The aggravation it saves me is money well spent!

The service with Hi! Tech is awesome!
I had a Macbook that wasn’t working, and a iPad on the fritz.
Meeting was super easy and convenient. They work with your schedule, and they were also very quick and efficient with the repair. I got my computer and iPad in new condition. It was like Christmas morning!
They not only fixed my computer, but backed it up, updated a new operating system, and installed a RAM. We were in constant communication and updated on the process. It was the easiest and smoothest repair I have ever been through.

Why do I need 3 remotes to watch TV? Sometimes watching my DVR just wasn’t worth all the effort involved. Hi! Tech programmed everything into super easy controls that I can activate directly from my phone. No more calling my boyfriend and having him troubleshoot turning on the tv! Thanks for consolidating the clutter and possibly saving my relationship!

When I contacted Hi! Tech to fix our slow and unreliable home wireless connection our helper joked there was a 0% chance I’d be dissatisfied! Lol. Well, he was 100% correct. The folks at Hi! Tech assessed our situation and found that many of our «neighbors» were using our connection! They replaced our old router with a faster new one and made sure that it was completely secure from outsiders.
The wireless extender they installed works great and now I can indulge my Pinterest habit from the warmth of my comfy bed, while my hubby streams Netflix in HD on the bedroom TV. We are 100% satisfied with the price, the service, and the experience.

First, let me say that I don’t write a lot of reviews — only for stellar or really questionable experiences. Hi! Tech is squarely in the stellar category.
I was totally stuck and Hi! Tech’s solution not only helped get me unstuck but actually put me on a path to manage my digital life in a much smarter way. My computer and phone were both completely full of tunes and photos. They upgraded my laptop’s hard drive to a new one with four times the space, migrated all my data, and setup a daily backup on a new external hard drive. Then they created a private online photo album where photos from my iPhone are synched daily, giving me peace of mind that I won’t lose a single pic of the kiddos. You guys rock my digital world!
