Heights Drop-Off Center and Laundromat

These people are wonderful! Service is exceptional. I mainly use them for wash and fold (free delivery is a huge perk!) and some dry cleaning /​tailoring. Highly recommended over the other shops in the area for friendliness, quality, and efficiency.

I have always been experiencing uneven service at this drop-​off laundromat. The staff, comprised of Moslem women, can be aloof to say the least. The most insane interaction was two weeks ago, when I was charged an extra pound on the ticket after, in fact, being asked what the weight was. After the woman handed me the ticket– I noticed the error and mentioned it to her (figuring she mis-​heard me). She then proceeded to yell at me that she wasn’t «going to put it in her pocket» which she said repeatedly. Though correcting the ticket took all of 10 seconds– she implied that I was wrong in the matter and there is something wrong with me. I explained that I don’t think she’s a thief, but that I didn’t want to be over-​charged even if only a dollar. This had no effect on her tone or attitude towards me. I had not been hostile nor even annoyed at the error so I didn’t understand this reaction.
I have since gone back to this place, and she is cold and rude and hostile to me even after two weeks. I think I’ve had it with this laundromat. It’s as if they want to drive business away with a cabal of unfriendly and, worse, unstable help. I will need to find another drop-​off laundromat. It’s too bad as they are in a convenient spot.

Worst dry cleaning I have ever experienced. Brought in a white blazer and received it back looking dingy like it was washed in dirty water and with visible stains on it that were not there before. Staff is unwelcoming at best, and rude at worst. Never again.

This is the cleanest self-​wash laundry that I have been to – everything is well taken care of. The prices are a little high but that is to be expected for the area. Their pickup/​drop off wash and fold is also really good, although the dryers can be tough on delicate clothes.

Great place. Economical. The women who work there remember me and are friendly but unfortunately, the owner doesn’t encourage great customer service, and the person who really cares is leaving. I get my clothes done by them and it’s worth it.

Pros: Good business, never had an item lost, prices reasonable, never late.
Cons: They don’t get stains out — even an oil stain take elsewhere. Folded laundry isn’t very tightly folded or well-​organized (i.e. I get home and resort tees from long sleeves from boxers and might have to redo mismatched socks).

The good thing about this place is that it is rarely overrun with customers.
The bad things are that they charge $ 3.50 for a large load of laundry and will occasionally use Saturday afternoon as their chance to take care of all their drop-​offs for the weekend (leaving few of their machines open for self-​serve customers).
