I called to ask the status of my application from 9 months ago, and was directed to the director’s voicemail, which was full. They told me to keep calling back until I get through. Given that they couldn’t give me any specific information about the waiting list when I applied: how many people were on the waiting list, when I could hear from them, etc., I suspect that I will be even less likely to get a straight answer this time.
