Hands of Gold Chiropractic

I recently moved into Bay Ridge and truly, my only concern was finding a good chiropractor, which can be as hard as finding a good mechanic.
My first attempt with another doctor was an epic fail but then I found Dr. Peloquin and he rocks! He was extremely thorough, is personable and caring and offers many different types of treatment to allow your body to heal on every level. I have disc issues in my neck and after the first visit I felt better than I had in months.
Three visits in and I have not seen an over crowded waiting room and only waited a minute or two before being seen. I can confidently say I found my chiropractic home, what a relief!

Every time I go to Hands of Gold with lower back and i leave pain free and happy cause the relief of back pain changes everything in your life. at least mine!!! Besides being professional which he and his staff truly are he gets the job done for me. I highly recommend him to several people of all ages from kids to adults and there all very happy with his practice… thanks for the hands of gold.

Moved to Brooklyn from New Jersey in July and I needed to find a new Chiropractor. Dr. Peloquin is the best I could ask for. Super professional, really attentive, asks a lot of questions. I walked out of their pain free and feeling great. He’s also treating my girl friend for a pinched nerve and she loves him too. Highly Recommended!

Great experience here! Dr. Jason and his staff are absolutely wonderful. I was suffering from a very bad stiff neck. I called them and got an appointment same day. I told the Dr I was starting a new job in the morning, and he fixed me right up! It was my first time at a chiropractor, my neck has never felt so good! Definitely has Hands of Gold! Dr. Peloquin is neither professional nor talented. There’s nothing gold about his hands. My husband has had about five sessions with him and his symptoms haven’t gotten any better. Furthermore, he has a real nasty attitude and is just rude. The only good thing about his practice is his friendly and accommodating receptionist.

Absolutely love this place. Very fast, very professional, and the chiropractor truly has hands of gold! I had this weird hunch in my back from slouching. Plus I just had constant back pain. He gave me tips, helped me more than you know. Plus not only does my back feel better but many other things feel better. I just feel like a new person. Thank you doctor for your help.

Dr. Peloquin is a great Chiropractor. He truly does have «Hands of Gold.» I put my back out and he accommodated me with an immediate appointment. From the first treatment I felt better. The office is warm and welcoming like Dr. Peloquin’s bedside manner. On the premises you not only get access to the doctor but can schedule an appointment with the masseuse or acupuncturist. These are additional methods that help with his treatment. Dr. Peloquin is running a smart office with his approach to health along with his lovely staff beside him. I continue to see Dr. Peloquin out of choice and maintaining my good health. I highly recommend Dr. Peloquin at Hands of Gold.

I am a believer! I had never been to a chiropractor before — I had never really had any issues with my back. But after 4 days of severe back pain and crying on my floor — I knew I needed to do something. After an hour of therapy and an adjustment — I felt 80% better. The next day — 95% better. Really good. Went to an orthopedist, PT, and received hundreds of lidocaine injections prior to going here. In one session he fixed a problem that I had for 5 years in my lower spine. Best chiropractor I have been to.

Over the past 25 years, I have been treated by six Chiropractors. The treatment and care I have received at Hands Of Gold surpasses all. There is a genuine concern for my well being. Every effort is made to work around my crazy schedule without pressure or repeated phone calls. My care and well being is foremost.
I believe my experience is typical. There is a genuine concern for every patient. It is refreshing to be attended by professionals that genuinely enjoy treating and helping patients.

I highly recommend Hands of Gold Chiropractic. There was a point where I was in so much pain, I couldn’t even think straight… While running errands on 3^rd avenue in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, I saw the sign for Hands of Gold. I thought to myself, why not?
Well, Dr. Peloquin completely changed my state of being. I went from barely getting through my day, to getting more done than I could imagine. The comfort of knowing that Dr. Peloquin is there when I am having an «off» day and need a tune up… is a truly a blessing. Although when I am not in pain, I go for an adjustment to keep the pain away. If you’ve pulled your back out shopping for the holiday season or carrying a Christmas into your home, GET TO HANDS OF GOLD RIGHT AWAY!

After only 4 visits with Dr Peloquin I’m finally pain free.
I’ve seen maybe 5 chiropractors in the distant past and pretty much gave up on the practice because I didn’t see much improvement in my condition.
Apparently the practitioner matters more than the practice. This guy’s good. Really good. He know his stuff and got to the root of my issue quicky. I could go into more detail, but right now I’m too busy celebrating my new pain-​free status.

Great place and a life saver! I couldn’t be more thankful and glad to actually take action and decided to go to Dr. Jason Peloquin. I definitely recommend him!!!

My back/​hip was in pain, and kept getting worse. By this afternoon, I was in so much pain that I cancelled plans with a friend who was visiting from out of town. I doubled up on over-​the-​counter pain meds, tried stretching, hot baths, etc – and nothing alleviated my ever-​worsening pain.
I finally sucked it up, grabbed $ 75 that I really didn’t have to spend, and went for my initial consultation/​adjustment with Dr Peloquin. He took his time with me, answered my questions sufficiently, and joked around with my friend and I (she was also a new patient). He performed a few different modes of therapy/​treatment on me, and without taking any pain medication whatsoever, I felt 75% better by the time I walked out of his office. Wow.
In addition to the fact that I DIDNT HURT ANYMORE, there were some other positives to my visit:
–He respected my budgetary constraints. He didn’t try to tell me I needed to come in ten times a week like some other chiropractors will do, and he didn’t try to sell me every product in his office. (You know the type: «Oh, you NEED to buy this cream, this lumbar support pillow, and twenty-​five more products, or you won’t get better! I’m the doctor, listen to me!»)
–A hand-​written sign wishing some of his patients a happy birthday was old-​fashioned and nice. Also, his waiting area plays quiet, soothing music. This may sound silly to note, but on a hectic day when I was feeling a lot of pain, a moment of peace was nice.
–The appointment didn’t feel rushed. So many doctors offices are like patient mills, and his is not.
So listen up, Unilocalers: go see Dr. Peloquin. You’ll be supporting a small Bay Ridge business run by a Bay Ridge native who respects his patients’ time. Don’t be fooled by shady chiropractors and their Groupons. I’d much rather pony up $ 50 for my next visit, because I know I will get what I pay for.

I visited this office for the first time in May when I was going through a rough patch. I was extremely busy with work. Long story short: I am a teacher/​musician and I had to do both at work from 9AM to 10PM for a few weeks.
I had neck spasms and was in pain. I had to be mobile for my job but I was struggling. I decided to give a chiropractic adjustment a try. Normally I would take some pills, put patches on and suck it up until it goes away but could not wait.
I went in without a call for an appointment based on the Unilocal reviews of how amazing this Dr. Jason is (BTW thank you all). The lady at the desk was a change from most that I had to deal with in the past doctor visits. She was courteous, helpful and such. Then came the doctor himself, out to the front with the same qualities. He was asking me to hang for a few minutes till he can get to me. They certainly know how to put minds at ease because I didn’t know what I was going for. maybe borderline scared.
First visit/​1^st chiropractic appointment ever. was fantastic. Go through all the usual questioning. then the massage, treatment, adjustment of the neck. CRACK
Wasn’t that bad. I was certainly shocked for a moment but immediately felt better.
I had to go back to work for a show and I wasn’t in any pain for it. It was amazing and it was certainly a pain and a stress reliever.
Went in for a followup for the neck adjustment then I talked about my sore back. Of course I never get it treated because I’m thinking it’s part of my life and high pain tolerance until I’m crippled once in a blue moon. Well. he took care of both for me. My neck is much better and my back was great for a while. Never felt that loose in years. Unfortunately, I was supposed to go for another followup but got extremely sick for a month but will be back.
I guess the tip is that you will feel great but can’t be all healed in one treatment, of which I knew about.

I went in to his office really nervous because I had never been to a chiropractor before. I had terrible pain and a stiff neck, I couldn’t turn, lay down or get back up without pain, it was even shooting down my arms. I thought it was just a crick in my neck but apparently I put my spine out of alignment. After my first visit I was not scared anymore, Dr. Jason helped me, adjusted my spine and I trusted him to crack my neck again for the next 3 visits. He made me feel very comfortable. Also, the office itself is so cozy, clean and friendly. After the second visit I was moving a lot better and by my last visit I was in no pain at all. He is caring, intelligent and down to earth, I would definately recommend him to anyone that has pain or back problems. If this ever happens to me again I will go back to Dr. Jason, I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Doctor Peloquin is truly amazing. Every time I throw my back out at work I’m healed in just one session. He’s a miracle worker. Knows exactly how to adjust the spine !!! Thank God for his golden hands. sent my boyfriend there who was in extreme pain. he walked out a new man! thankyou Doctor Peloquin.

I have been struggling with back pain for a long, long time and have visited my share of chiropractors. Dr. Jay was so thorough. He explained everything in detail, used all these incredible machines to loosen up my back, took his time asking me questions regarding my afflictions, walked me through exercises that would help, and was just overall caring.
His office staff is warm and friendly. He plays great music! Overall you begin feeling relaxed from the moment you walk in.
I have a feeling I’m going to be a lifetime patient!

Dr Jason is as good as it gets when it comes to complete, whole healing, chiropractic care. I searched for 3 months to find a good chiropractor in the brooklyn area. I travel 35 minutes away from my home to come here. Because everything about this practice is RIGHT! His office staff are friendly, caring and not pushy when it comes to insurance and billing.
I have been a patient of Dr Jason since 2008 and I tell him all the time that I have never had an adjustment as wonderful as his and I have been a patient of chiropractic since 1997. When I am out of town and have to go a prolonged period of time without a chiropractic adjustment, I miss his adjustments and any other adjustment I get outside of his misaligns me more than I already am but thinking positively, I know my spine is fine because I have Dr Jay to align it right! CHIROPRACTORS MAKE WRONGS, RIGHT!
Definitely one of the better ones in the Brooklyn area!
