This is a good spot for anyone coming to get junk food and expecting just that. I used to come here and get a sugared pretzel and a smoothie. My boyfriend loves the salt pretzels but I never enjoyed them. They have them with jalapeño peppers and other goodies on them if you’re into that. I no longer eat sugar and came here today. The sign advertises their smoothies to contain real fruit, yogurt, and ice, nothing more. Should’ve known better. I got a strawberry banana smoothie and was blown away by how sweet it was. Great for if you have a sweet tooth but after one sip I went back and asked them if they added sugar. They said no but the fruit is already sweetened, I peeked over the counter and their«real fruit» is laying there simmering in good olé’ syrup. The man behind the counter was really friendly. He offered to make me one just«a little bit sweet. I told him I can’t have sugar and asked for a refund and he gave me one with no issue. All in all, decent service, not a current fan of their food.

I don’t know how this place doesn’t have 5 stars! They have thee best strawberry shakes here as well as the strawberry banana smoothie(which is made with yogurt) ! I think that the pretzels here are way better than auntie Annes…

The bomb diggity of big pretzels. Yes I said bomb diggity and not just to both my girlfriend. These pretzels are delicious. I really dislike Kings Plaza but I have been coming here since I was a kid. Every time Im here I need to get a salted pretzel and sometimes a strawberry smoothie which are also pretty good. Definitely check these pretzels out if youre in the hood.

I love Gretel’s Pretzels! Can’t believe they didn’t have their own Unilocal page and they deserve one! One of the longest stores I remember from when I used to visit Kings Plaza as a kid. I used to get the plain butter or salted pretzel with cheese and it was(and still is) amazing! Now i get the almond crunch which is even better! The nuggets are cute, but like all more conveniently sized foods, more expensive. They have gotten more expensive over the years, but i guess that is to be expected. The cinnamon sugar ones are also good. They have ones with cheese as well as with hot dogs. They make smoothies as well and i prefer the ones without milk. Deliciously sweet and a nice treat whenever I go to Kings Plaza. I believe they are now coupled with the yogurt place next door so now it’s the place for a variety of snacks and desserts! I would take Gretel’s Pretzels over Auntie Anne’s any day!
