Extremely consistent, efficient, and friendly. I’ve gotten delivery or counter maybe a dozen times now and it’s never been sloppy or bad. Always good.

I just ordered the Ruben, fries, and a cream. I have to say delivery was fast. It was my first time ordering so I was a bit skeptical but once I started eating my food I have to admit that the woman was deliciously cooked the fries were soggy and overall I have nothing but great things what are needed to put it out there and I would definitely order them from them again thank you

The first time I came here I was very impressed, the second time I was satisfied and the third time I told myself I will not be coming back here.
First of all, I have never waited 10+ minutes for a sandwich or wrap with NO one waiting for any food. Second, the place can’t maintain an A rating and is now a B. Third, the staff could give a damn.
It’s unfortunate because the food is pretty good and the prices are great. However, this is Brooklyn and there are many other choices everywhere.

this 1 star is definitely not for the food, because the food is amazing. It’s for the horrible attitude of the staff, especially the manager Ted. He is very disrespectful, rude, needs to learn some manners. He messed up my order and called me a liar and refused to do anything about it. This place just lost a good customer.

Ordered a panini today with mozzarella, pesto, tomato. Repeated it twice. The employee said it back. Then I get it, walk out, and decide to make sure he didn’t screw up. Turns out there’s chicken and no tomato. So I go back and let him know there’s chicken even though I didn’t order it. He goes: «what, you don’t like chicken?»

Coffee is great. Good prices. I come here daily. Staff is very nice. Typical Bagel shop no complains here.

I used to live right next door to Goustaro’s, so my boyfriend and I would order takeout from them almost every morning. Not only is the food delicious and cheap, but it’s always fresh. We’ve never eaten inside considering the proximity to my apartment, but it does have large windows which could make for a very nice environment to sit and enjoy your morning coffee. Although it would definitely be too hectic to do that during the morning rush.
I personally think that the best deal is their «2 eggs any style» option. You can get it with cheese on any type of bread (which can be buttered and toasted) with bacon, ham, or sausage for only $ 4.50. Yup, $ 4.50. Can you get a better deal than that? We usually get two apiece. Over hard with bacon for him and scrambled with sausage for me, both on toasted white bread. They’re always the perfect thing to start the day. Sometimes I get the pancake platter which is also a bargain. Three pancakes, two eggs, home fries, and a choice of meat for $ 7.75. I’ve also gotten toasted bagels with lox and cream cheese from here and they always put tons of lox in it. And it winds up being less than $ 7, way cheaper than other places I’ve been to.
I will say that they do breakfast better than they do dinner. They have a lot of burger options but they haven’t really wow’d me yet, I find that they tend to be a bit dry and flavorless. And as yummy as it sounds do NOT get the lunchbox burger. Replacing traditional burger buns with grilled cheese might sound like the best thing ever, but it winds up being a soggy and oily mess.

I order from here all the time. There food is great, the portions are huge, the delivery is fast and the prices are better than anywhere else in the area. I particularly enjoy the sandwiches here. There salads are also great.

Couldn’t use Levelup $ 5 ($ 4 City pass + $ 1 but they don’t take/​it wasn’t working) nor the Unilocal checkin offer (only with certain purchases) and was unimpressed with the style and selection anyway, so just got a mediocre bagel.

I’ve been coming to Goustaro’s almost every morning for a year. The coffee is by far the best coffee I’ve had in New York (I live in Manhattan, my boyfriend lives in Bay Ridge). I was born and raised in New York and I have yet to find better coffee than Goustaro’s. They have turned me into a coffee drinker! The sandwiches, wraps, burgers, breakfast platters, salads, and desserts/​pastries are all A++++. The staff is always friendly. It is very clean and always well maintained and welcoming. Love this place — only wish there were more of them in the city!

Great food, great prices. french toast is excellent. Sausages are the huge links that fill you up after one link. Eggs are typically made to order (on point, not over done) delivery is fast and efficient. We always order from them and they always take great care of us. A neighborhood staple.

INFESTED with ROACHES
How is the owner Steven S denying that a roach came out of the salad bar on Monday, October 6^th, 2014 around 11am? I was there and the young thin girl who was working by the salad bar freaked out and screamed because she got scared when she saw the roach! You were there and did nothing. You, the owner were the one there and did absolutely nothing. I’m sure it was in order not to alarm other customers who didn’t see the roach crawling on the wall or notice that the scream was due to an employee seeing a roach. I was very polite and didn’t scream, however I should have screamed because it did frighten me! Seeing a roach by the salad bar and then again another one on the wall in a matter of minutes is alarming.
The owner is attributing having roaches in his food establishment because of «new delis opening up» when in fact, Goustaro is on the corner of 93^rd Street… so on one side you don’t have anything surrounding your business and on the other side there’s a newsstand. There are very few food establishments on your block: the Middle Eastern, the Chinese and Subway. Why are you making up excuses because you have roaches in your business?
I am appalled because you’re denying having roaches when indeed you do know that your establishment has them. It’s a sad reality.
Anyone who reads this, do yourself a favor, do NOT go there unless you are fond of eating at food establishments that have cockroaches swarming in the place!

Good coffee. Pricey but not too pricey. The line to order is sometimes chaotic. I went in and ordered a toasted bagel plain. A few minutes later a beautiful woman came in and ordered two complicated egg sandwiches. Surprisingly, her order was completed before mine. I might have done the same as a worker but as a customer it was not acceptable.

Get seamless from here all the time! Great iced coffees and breakfast sandwiches. The few times I actually went into the store the staff was very pleasant and prompt. A neighborhood staple!

Good place to grab a quick lunch. It looks small because they cut it on half to fit in a plastic box but there is so much meat that I was stuffed from eating it. There were big strips of bacon too. I like cannolis but I decided to try the French version since I never heard of it. I like the extra almonds on top but the pastry shell was too soft for my liking. The filling didn’t taste like cannoli filling, it was more like pudding with a little ricotta flavor. I would come back and try other wraps,

I love this place! It’s very close to my work and I order delivery or get takeout from there regularly. The food is really good and they are fast at delivery with good service.
The only thing I don’t like is that I wish they had a website you could order through. Even their grubhub page doesn’t list the full extent of their menu, so I usually end up calling and asking a million questions about their daily specials before placing an order. Otherwise, they’re great!

Great place that is open early for my bagel fix, only problem I would say is that they need to get a better toaster. The service is great and friendly.
