I live close so I’ve been here a billion times(exaggeration). Here’s the breakdown: Pros: –Hugeeeee selection of menu items. Not just your simply baked goods, so many cooked items and drinks too. –Low prices. You can feed your whole family of four breakfast for $ 10! Cons: –Service is bad! They will ignore you. And you better speak Chinese or get ready to flag your arms up and down to get attention. –Depending on the time you come here, they can take forever. Once, it took 15mins just to get a coffee drink in the morning with 2 people in line. I missed 2 trains that morning. –The locals are… aggressive. They will skip you in line so stand your ground!

I would recommend them as an alternative to Dunkin Doughnuts across the street and Mei Mei a few doors down. Items are reasonably priced. Their Pullman Toast is by far the best I have had in Bensonhurst. Dim sums are decent. Long wait for customized steamed rice crêpe during rush hours. Minus 2 stars for bad customer service.

I pass the bakery everyday. Every morning there’s a line waiting for the breakfast. They not only sell break and cakes, so many options u can not imagine. And many different kinds beverages, milk tea, coffee, juice, soy milk etc. they have limited tables, so u can sit n enjoy for whatever you bought. Honestly, it’s not authentic no matter what u get, it’s just sorta that kinda thing which bit looks and tastes like what you wanted. once u ate it, u know it’s not that bad but there’s something not right like u expected. U know what I am saying? Lol. Anyway, it’s super cheap but cash only. I bought 4 different kinds of bread n cakes, only cost 3.5! Sweeeeet~

the attitude was super bad, they can argue with me because I wanted an extra soy sauce for my rice. they said one rice only come with one soy only. wtf, I just wanted an extra one and they won’t give me cause the boss will yell at them. what kind of boss will tell at the worker just because they give out one more soy sauce!

I ordered two breakfast C today that’s supposed to come with ramen, ham and egg but when I got home… I only got ramen with NOHAMNOEGG. This new lady served me seems so confused. I asked for two breakfast C but she only made one and had to make another after finishing the first one. Been here many times… this new lady seems confused from the beginning… need to void her!

Foods ok but the staff there is really the problem!!! Not once I’ve been to this place with a ok customer service. They all look miserable and they really take it on their customers. Not to mention they tried to over charge us by $ 10, they blamed it on us… I am very disappointed and they are a disgrace for my race!!!

its a good place to get something to eat after a long day of work. the food is inexpensive depending on when you go wait time is alright. staff wise some are friendly and some are rude depends on who you get. the dim sum isnt really that great, however they do have a variety of different items. drinks are the usual milk tea, coffee, bubble tea etc

Don’t bother going into this place if you’re not Chinese! The women behind the register will completely ignore you and take the order from any other Chinese customers before you regardless of whether you walked in there first or not. Worst experience ever! Extremely rude! No apologies whatsoever. When I asked the woman if she was going to take my order, she just ignored me and greeted yet another Chinese customer who walked in there after me. Will not be going back ever again! Oh and btw, if you’re buying the drinks from the refrigerator, check the expiration date! My son grabbed a drink and it said the expiration date was 8÷16÷14!!! Expired nearly 5 months ago. Where’s the health inspector?

It boggles my mind every time, how I am able get 10 items at a Chinese bakery and pay 7 to 8 bucks, and while this place did not answer my conundrum it filled my stomach as well as three of my friends, for you guessed it 7 bucks. The staff is friendly The spot is very clean, and the quality of the buns taste of higher quality then most other places. They have a good selection of buns and all were fresh As most of these spots, this one is CASH only

A non-conventional Chinese bakery. Whereas most bakeries serve only things like hotdog buns, golden buns and pork buns, Good View offers other breakfast items, like crepes. The food is good, nothing special. The service does need a little work though, albeit you can’t really completely blame the workers, as the customers are just as bad. Line cutting happens often and the workers don’t really curtail it. Being one of the few Asian bakeries in the area, and right by the train station, probably a safe bet on the way to work. Just don’t go bananas when you have to wait a bit.

I like the service. It’s a great place to grab a snack and a cup of tea. Prices are low and affordable. There are seats when I come in. I usually visit in the evening.(During the day, it’s crammed with kids from New Utretcht High School, so if you want a quiet meeting – try another time). The service is quick and friendly. The people who work here are usually in a good mood, smiling and making me laugh. I always eye their pastries and stare in wonderment when I visit. I love their chicken sandwich, their ham and egg(freshly fried) sandwich, and their delicious egg tarts. I have had their lemon tea, hot tea with milk, and many other delightful dessert pastries. Just heavenly delicious! I always come here when I’m in Dyker Heights fringe.

I really like their products, prices & location. First thing you see when you hop off the D train’s 79th St stop and they are very bright and well-lit, definitely an inviting interior. . I ordered myself a hot milk tea($ 0.80) & their chicken chow mein($ 1.50), but ended up with only the hot milk tea since they said that their chicken chow mein today was made with their barbecued pork so I decided to opt out. Definitely will return next time I am in Brooklyn and give it a whirl though.

Terrible customer service. In the morning, they’re inconsiderate of people’s time– they don’t think people have to go to work/school. I’ve seen people just walk out after waiting and waiting. They’re so slow and have a mean face. And even in the afternoon with a few people, they are ridiculous. I went there and there were 3 ladies working. One was already taking care of a customer while the other two, who saw at least 3 of us waiting, kept on organizing cups rather than take our orders. The only one helping a customer was telling the other two to take care of us but those nasty two just ignored her. The customers in front of me eventually just left. I think they must be seriously underpaid to be so nasty and mean.

Dropped in at like noon on Saturday to grab a few dim sum items for a snack. Ordered up a couple of rice noodles stuffed with shrimp, which they made fresh, and a couple of steamed pork buns. Love that the rice noodles were fresh. Love that the steamed pork buns were only .80 cents. I’ve also had a standard sugar donut from here — not as crazy about that. Service is fine. They move the line along. Can’t wait to make this a regular spot for a quick breakfast. Excited to try out the green tea waffle next!

One of the better Chinese bakeries(buns, pastries, & sandwiches) in the Bensonhurst area. They offer freshly made rice noodle dishes at low prices which are extremely popular. Sometimes it gets too hectic for the staff and the service suffers as a result. It seems like the staff does not have a good system in place for responding to orders when it gets busy. Hopefully, they’ll rectify this issue soon because it can be a off-putting sometimes for the customers.

This was a random stop off the 79th street exit in deepest darkest Brooklyn. A decent place to stop that carries breakfast food for non Chinese and all the common bakery stuffs the Chinese folk will find familiar. They have the über cheap ham and cheese sandwiches without the crust. They also have fruit drinks with bubbles. Not bad, but not amazing. A solid place to stop if you’re hungry after a long trek from the city and a decent, safe place to wait as you get picked up. You will want to get out at the front train(if you’re coming from Manhattan).
