We are dedicated to selling contemporary and classic clothing at reasonable prices. To accomplish this mission we sell many well-​known affordably priced designers, such as BCBG’s Max and Cleo, Tulle, Nick and Moe, Micheal Stars, Free People, Red Engine Jeans, and Tano Bags. You will also find unique jewelry pieces designed by local Brooklyn artists.

History

Established in 2003.

Well, we’re GOLDY + MAC, of course. Better known as Ashley Gold and Susan McInerney. Two friends from the neighborhood, Park Slope that is, who have been in desperate search of stylish clothing in the Slope at affordable prices.

Prior to opening GOLDY + MAC, we logged hours searching from store to store, including from high end boutiques that burst our pocketbooks to teen trendy stores that most of our friends won’t admit they ever frequent, and were endlessly disappointed.

Was it too much to ask to find that killer Saturday night top (the one that turns heads) or that smart office outfit (the one that miraculously hides the fact that this week’s diet isn’t working) at prices that won’t make you skip rent or vow to never use your credit card again? We thought not. So, we decided that if we want stylish affordable clothing in the Slope, we must bring it ourselves. And, GOLDY + MAC was born.
