Geek Shop is the place to go!!! They hooked me up! They replaced my phone screen in just 15 mins and I was on my way. They did a excellent job! I recommend that everyone get there phone fixed here! Very nice people!!!

I brought in my Iphone 5 for a screen replacement after it cracked from dropping on concrete. This place is great. It took them about 20 minutes to replace my cracked screen with a new one (enough time for me to walk down the street and get a flu shot from Duane Reade). They charge about $ 80 for a replacement screen (price will depend on what version phone you have). I also purchased a new cover and a privacy screen protector which totaled a little over $ 100. It’s the price you have to pay for not having enough protection on your phone– lesson learned. Hopefully, I don’t crack my phone screen again. They repair other electronics as well. So, I would definitely consider them for other services if need be (knock on wood!).

Shattered my iPhone screen. Brought it here and they had a brand new screen on in 20 minutes for $ 125. I asked for a screen protector and they recommended a glass one. The guy even put it on for me with such precision… cleaned the screen multiple times and used a duster can to make sure it was perfect. They also gave me a discount for the screen protector. Very friendly and excellent service!

I dropped my Macbook Pro from my TV stand one night while the screen was half way open and the screen got completely pushed back. When closed, the screen (meaning the top half of the laptop, my tech jargon is non-​existent) didn’t line up with the bottom half. When the laptop was open the screen was wobbly. This was the first time I had dropped my laptop in 5 years of having it. Of course I freaked out because (1. damn, thats my laptop, but 2. CRAP I just dropped a Macbook Pro, there goes my bank account). But anyway, the next day I went to the geek shop, told the guy (Peter, I think) what happened, and he said that they’d do a free diagnostic and let me know whats wrong. He called me the next morning and told me I needed a frame replacement along with something else having to do with the screen that I can’t remember and he told me it would be $ 249. I was hoping it wouldn’t be that much but I told him to do it of course because I need my laptop. The repair ended up taking longer than they anticipated because they needed to order the parts from somewhere else, which he called and made me aware of. I ended up getting my laptop back a few days later. I brought it in on Sunday and had my laptop back on Thursday, which is awesome. I paid $ 249 + tax. Its been a couple of weeks since i got it back and I’m happy with the repair, my laptop is as good as new. One bad thing though, I’m not a fan of one of parts they used. It’s really different from the original part and has a different shape. I guess that’s not their fault though, they fixed my laptop and thats really all that matters.
P. S. I have a friend that works for geek squad at Best Buy and he said that they would’ve charged $ 500+ for the same repair. SO yeah, go to the Geek Shop people.

I dropped my iPhone 6 and the screen was completely busted. Like a champ Peter had me back up and running in less than 30 minutes.

This is about as much fun as paying a parking ticket. Replacing my iPhone 5s screen was $ 97 and change. Nothing personal about the experience. No interest in helping me figure out how to replace my SIM card and actual mistrust about whether it was my phone (I could really have done without that).
There are cheaper and friendlier places.

I brought my iPhone6 in to repair the cracked screen. The process was fast and it was fixed within 15minutes. He also help me to put on the screen protector as well. Knowledgeable staff and great customer service.

Brought in my iPhone 4S to have my screen repaired due to a major crack. The price they charge is very reasonable. The customer service was good.
The repair took a bit longer than I expected (2 hours). The screen looked brand new.
One major issue is that I continued to have problems with the phone as it would freeze in between apps and I had to continually restart the phone to avoid the issue. The issue had nothing to do with multiple apps running at the same time as I always shut them off.
I don’t see myself coming back here.

These guys are life savers! I was in the kitchen, (where I’m suppose to be) making eggplant parmesan, and I dropped my iPhone. The entire screen was cracked and I couldn’t turn the phone off and it was displaying all different colors. Thankfully the drop of the phone caused the iPhone to play U2’s new album.
I headed down to GS all while U2 was blasting from my broken phone. Upon entering GS I was greeted by a lovely woman. She looked at my phone and assured me the geeks could fix it. Within 15−20minutes GS bandaged up my baby and presented me with a fair bill (under $ 100). Their repair prices are a better deal than if you have insurance because the deductibles and wait times are usually much higher!!!

I dropped my ipod a couple of weeks ago and the glass cracked.
Geek Shop is amazing. Not only did they fix my ipod within a reasonable amount of time and charged a reasonable price, but the tech recommended a case that would help if I ever dropped the ipod again.
I hope that I never have to go back to Geek shop again, but I do, I have confidence that the issue will be resolved quickly and professionally.

Amazing! I dropped my laptop. The screen was just white lines. I figured it was time to buy a new one. I brought it to The Geek Shop and it was back and running perfectly within 25 minutes (I know because I had put 30 minutes on the meter and I had about 4 minutes left when I got back to my car… allowing 1 minute for the walk.)
They were prompt, courteous and clearly honest. They could have easily sold me a new screen and I would have been fine with it.
Don’t panic… take your machine here.

I have to concur. Oscar charged me $ 65 to replace the charging port on my Toshiba Laptop. He also reinforced the chassis so there was less movement and didn’t even charge me. Great service and most importantly, FAIR pricing.

Fast, reasonably priced iPhone screen repairs from an honest merchant. 30 min. in & out, and they let me watch the whole repair. You can find cheaper places for a new screen (usually because they simply swap out only the glass, messing up the responsiveness of the attached touch screen); however, those don’t last.

I went here Sunday because my phone wouldn’t turn on, no matter how many times I tried. Of course, once I got here, the guy at the counter (Pete, I believe) turned it right on. :-)
He also downloaded 2 apps that would help with battery life and we discussed the positives and negatives of the current crop of Samsung phones and whether to wait for the new Note 5, likely to come out in a few months. We also discussed which company had the best service in which neighborhoods. Pete spent about 20 – 30 minutes with me and charged me nothing. Nice guy, too. I would come back here, again, if I ever needed to get my phone fixed. Thanks, Pete!

My visit was one of those occasions where the level of service was so good I wanted to know the name of the person helping me so I could thank them more personally, my experience was actually beyond that. Restores faith in humanity would be more accurate.
I would give them 10 stars if I could.

I have used this site a handful of times but I felt compelled to take the time to remember my login and password and post this.
Unnecessary Events:
1. I broke my iPhone 3 times in a month.
First time was my bad and I accept that. I decided to use a local business close to work. I had never broke a screen before but it seemed to be going well, he was friendly and bragged about fixing it in ‘6 minutes’. He asked me if I needed a case and I replied probably but that I didn’t have the ends at the moment. I paid almost a hundo just for the screen. He offered to stop by my work the next day with a case on the house and i thought ‘nice thats good customer service’. He never came with one but that didn’t bother me.
2. My screen cracked again within two weeks. I take no blame for this one. It actually dropped face up on my backpack and broke– (that shit can only happen to me).
I took it back and he fixed it again for the same price and offered me free headphones. I chose blue ones and when I went to use them the left speaker didn’t work at all.
3.The Third time the rotten screen cracked was within the same week so I decided not to go back to this store. Im no hater so I won’t say his name or the store but I will say it is located in Park Slope.
Today my boy took me today to GeekShop and I was helped by everyone but OSCAR was the dude who actually took my phone apart and fixed it. He was friendly, professional, and helpful.
What I like most about this spot aside from the cheaper price is that I could see everything Oscar was doing. Oscar was so cool with me asking questions and answered all of the completely. Oscar was so cool with me asking questions and answered all of the completely.
At the first spot in Park Slope dude was hidden behind a counter.
I should note I don’t break phones often. I am not blaming the first place but it seems a bit suspect after years of maintaining phone screens in peace my phone breaks 3 times in less than a month after using their services.
Basically, if you are still reading all I am trying to say is go to Geek Shop.
Store fronts that rent out small areas to people for to perform this service such as the first store I went to don’t seem to come correct.

I’m able to write up this Unilocal review off my repaired iPhone, all thanks to Geek Shop!!! I recently put my iPhone 5 through hell with a combination of my butter fingers and alcohol intoxication. I cracked the screen, lost the main button, and the phone screen detached, it hanging on by a thin little ribbon. I was scared this phone was a lost cause.
Thankfully, I popped into the shop, met the owner Peter who was very professional and friendly. I have a working iPhone 5 with a brand new screen and new button! i was in and out with my repair!
