Lystra Lynch-​Ebron founded Geb Hetep Wholistic Center in 1989. The center began as a vision of creating a place that offered assistance to those that were in need of direction towards a better, healthier life. This dream was of a wellness center designed to promote, proper nutrition, holistic healing and self-​empowerment within a nurturing environment. Geb Hetep continues to be a place with an inviting atmosphere and caring professionals who are dedicated to assisting you in your personal goal of health and wellness.

This place is truly incredible. The staff was thoughtful, warm, and engaged fully in my care. Lystra set the tone from the beginning by really understanding my whole health picture. She asked all of the right questions and really took the time understand what I was going through. The process itself certainly makes you feel vulnerable and I couldn’t imagine a more kind or serene or competent guide. Thank you GEB!

I always feel refreshed when I leave this place. It has a full sauna and massage area. If you need a detox come here. Lytsra is the best hands down. Helen is great a well. I am in my 20’s and healthy living is my motto. Best place in brooklyn. They also have great deals in the summer and winter if you buy series of 3 colonics. I look a good deal.

Not a newbie when it comes to colon hydrotherapy. I have visited a different colon hydrotherapist multiple times in the past and I must say these ladies are very legitimate. They are very attentive and made the process easy and enjoyable. Highly recommend everyone take a visit to Geb Hetep and eliminate those toxins laying dormant in your colon.

I had wonderful experience at geb hotep. The atmosphere is very welcoming and calming. Lystra who assisted me was very attentive knowledgeable and made me feel 100% relaxed. She even advised me on food nutrition. I will give geb hotep 3 stars being the treatment my boyfriend received from Yocheved. He expressed that she was extremely harsh and didn’t respect his privacy. Even after the session she embarrassed us by trying to force us into signing up for another session even after we privately declined. This encounter left a bad taste in my mouth. Other than that this is a great place to get a colonic.

This place has literally changed my life. Yocheved is one of the greatest, most powerful, compassionate, and wise people I have ever met, and it was an honor to have her cleanse my colon. The whole atmosphere is deep relaxation and really facilitates a depth of cleansing I didn’t think was possible. Amazing to have found this place, and I will keep coming back.

Update:
Becasue of my issues, over my last few visits Dr. Ade started applying a lot more pressure. It pained and my body would shut down (tighten up) in defense which to me was counterproductive.
I spoke with him about my concerns on this vist because he has always asked me to say what works and what doesn’t for me. He listened, applied the amount of pressure I could tolerate and this vist was wonderful. I literally felt the tightness in my joints easing away.
Thanks again Dr. Ade! You and your hands.

I have been going to Geb Hetep for many years, when they were located on Flatbush Ave. This is one of the best, and I have been to many Wholisiic Centers in New York City. The décor is beautiful and the services and staff are knowledgable, warm and friendly. If you never had a colonic I highly recommend you have it here. Lystra can explain the process and make you feel good about taking care of your body.

So I decided to finally get a colonics done after I heard many people swear by it. When I got there I didn’t know what to expect by my therapist Gwen made it easy. She was very knowledgeable about colonics & the body. She even advised on what dietary & nutritional things to eat & take for good health. I definitely recommend this place, It’s clean, the people r very nice & u feel lighter.

This is my go to place for colonics. I always book an appointment with Lystra, cuz she knows her stuff! She can tell you what’s wrong with your diet and recommend what vitamins or actions you should do moving forward. The ambience is afro-​chic, relaxing, and scented wonderfully.

Went to this place yesterday to get a colonics for the very first time on my birthday and it was a good experience. I was nervous, scared and had no idea what to expect but my therapist Gwen was amazing. Gwen was very professional and knowledgeable in explaining the procedure and comforted me through the entire process. I highly recommend this place and will be coming back very soon for another colonic with Gwen!

Lystra, the owner of Geb hetep is not only a highly professional colon thearpist, but she is kind and very knowledgable about herbal and nutrition! When i received my very first colonic, i was feeling fatigued and bloated and i suffered from chronic constipation. Based Lystra’s assessment of my situation, she explained to that due to the fact i had an appendectomy, my body retained toxins and that i needed to change my poor diet habits. i have had in the past 4 months a least 5 colonics and i feel so much better! The establishment is simply gorgeous! The facility looks like a Spa! The supportive staff i.e. Arlene, is professional and friendly as well! If you want to feel good about your colon health, please make an appointment, you will not regret it! Also the colon sessions that i had were 45 – 60 minutes and Lystra has a
gentle touch! While enjoing the smell of lavender and Zen music … i actually fell
asleep on the table! i received outstanding courteous service!

Colonics are 22 – 30 mins. It’s definitely not the 45min-​60 mins you get other places. Service is average and can be very unprofessional! I have been getting colonics for over seven years and when I left I didn’t feel clean and light like I usually do because you’re on the table for a short period. There’s better places in Brooklyn for colonics. Don’t waste your time!

Very clean place and experienced colonic therapists. I see Yochoved for my colonic needs… She is very good in ensuring that you maximize the release of toxins in 40 — 60 min session. She stays in the room the entire time… She adds lavendar oil on your gown for relaxation… And scented oils in the room… She has years of experience and will educate you on your diet… The impact of food to your system etc…
