This isn’t my go-​to nail salon, I was in desperate need for a quick fix of my nails the next day. I decided to do a regular manicure. Nothing fancy, just a solid color. This was my first and it will be my last time ever entering this salon.
Although they appear nice from the outside. They’re customer service was absolutely horrible. The moment I entered the salon, I was greeted with «Hi, manicure?» from across the room. I told her I was just wanted a regular manicure and she responded with «okay $ 8.» She pointed me to a selection of nail color bottles. I entered this salon with only a subtle idea of what color I wanted on my nails but I always like to see what my options are. Without exaggeration, she only allowed me TWO MINUTES tops to pick and choose my color of choice. Within that two min, She finally came up to me for the first time and watched me as I was thinking. I felt rushed– Needless to say I was not happy with my color choice right after. I chose a light pink mademoiselle by Essie. I’ve own a few Essie bottles myself and I’m highly aware that Essie’s lighter shades require at least three coats to achieve the fullest effect.
She sat me down, and reminded me the price of $ 8. She immediately started to take off my chipped nails and cut my cuticles. She rushed everything and was VERY aggressive. I noticed that one finger was not filed down proper and asked her to please fix it. She looked at me as I was crazy. She said that it was fine.- At that moment, I wasn’t going to tolerate it so I told showed her that there was a corner that was protruding out. Finally, she said she would fix it later.
The next thing she did was absolutely rude. Even though, she knew I spoke cantonese (Chinese), she had no shame but to sh*t-talk about the black woman guest that was sitting next to me… to her coworker. I couldn’t believe my ears. I bit my lip because I’m not the type of person who causes drama.
The coloring application with base and top coat was the most stunning and unbelievable poor application that i’ve ever experienced. She applied each coat right after the other leaving no time AT ALL for drying application. Before she could apply the top coat, I realized that she only applied one coat of the color and I requested another coat because I could still see my nail under. She gave me an attitude and said its going to be thick, and that my nails are originally yellow and she couldn’t do anything about that and requested me to stop choosing darker colors on my nails. How ABSURD. After applying a second coat, she applied the top coat right after (again no drying time).
It’s been two hours since then, and my nails having this «bubbling» effect, and i’m assume this happened because she didn’t allow any time for each coat to dry in between. My thumb nail is already indented.
She didn’t introduce herself to me, so I didn’t get her name. But she sits a little pass the front desk.
I left this place unhappy, and disrespected.

I was very disappointed by my experience here especially after reading such positive reviews. I came in and asked for a manicure. I only wanted a manicure. Before I could put down my stuff one of the workers yelled from across the room convincing me to get a pedicure, I didn’t need one but thought what the hell might as well get one since Im here, trying my hardest to ignore how rude she was off the bat and enjoy my time. As soon as I sat down I realized she was going to rush through my nails. THERE WASNT EVEN ALOT OF PEOPLE IN THE SALON. SHE DIDNT HAVE TO RUSH. She asked me about 10 times what color i wanted as I looked through the colors and continuously would tell me «5 dollar extra for this, is this ok» as if I couldn’t pay for my nails. Now, I came in here with pretty messy hair and wasn’t as put together as I usually am. And I hate to assume her treatment was due to my appearance but I wouldn’t be surprised. My pedicure lasted 10 minutes maybe 7 max. She rushed through the entire experience making me feel more stressed then pampered. Looking back I should have said something but I’m not a confrontational person so I let it go. What bothered me the most was across from me was a female (asian more put together) being helped by the only man who works there and although she came in before me, I was finished before her. My pedicure chipped 2 days later…
Now for my manicure. It was also rushed, I got a gell manicure that chipped in a day and was fully removable in a week. The tech made a few mistakes in the french nail design application and every time I would mention it to her she would huff and puff. I for sure won’t be going back. They are judgmental, rude and obviously only interested in the money. Don’t get fooled by the nice looking salon both outside and inside, this place is a sh*ty nail salon in disguise.

Got my first gel manicure here– my nails look great and the ladies working there were very helpful!

Place was super crowded on a Saturday afternoon. (And it was also the weekend of spring break.) Everyone and their mother was there. I came in for a French Mani & regular Pedi. My technician was Gary. He was very nice and tried to fix what ever I was not completely satisfied with.
They have new disposable nail filers and buffers for each person. And a plastic barrier for the pedi station.
But my cuticles were not full removed so the polish came out bumpy towards the bottom. When I told him he said it was because it was left over from my gel polish… Umm I haven’t gotten gel done in 5 months! Overall I didnt like how my nails came out. The French wasn’t even either.

This is one of the better nail salons in the neighborhood. I have yet to encounter an unsatisfactory experience. I always receive pleasant service and my nail technicians thus far are precise, neat, and never fail to meet my expectations as far as gel manicures/​pedicures go.
If your in the area, this is the salon to select. There are a few others nearby, most of them a little less expensive, but for a reason.
Personally, I will pay an extra few bucks for proper service and professionally done nails that look professional versus questionable. Wouldn’t you?

I have been coming here for years. Like over 6 years! I hate to write this review because it’s so hard to find a decent nail salon in this area. They all are just horrible.
I’d go back to my old salon prior to this but they are far from me now and I’ve got two young kids so time is hard to come by to travel there, though I’m so tempted at this point.
Here’s the story: Gary did my gel manicure, and he is awesome and friendly and does a great job, but this time he forgot the base coat. So a nail chipped 3 days in, then by day 6, my polish was peeling off. I returned today to ask for a fix, and a discount for having to return 1 week early.
The Polish easily came off and a new gel color applied. Did I get a discount?
The two women were arguing in front of me over $ 5 difference of what to charge me. You gotta be joking? They charged me the higher price, I paid and really considering not returning ever… However epic problem being there are no decent nail salons around!

Now know ask Galvanzied nails, this place has been my go to nail salon in recent months. Everything is super clean. When getting a pedicure they place new plastic linking around the tub. They also use new nail buffer, filer and feet scrubber with every client. Same goes with manicures.
Services are very well priced considering the quality of service they give. Don’t rush you out not do they tell you a false wait time which I’ve encountered at many other salons in the past.
For gel manicures they also offer many different type of designs. I’ve never had it done personally however, I’m judging by the work I’ve seen on their Instagram page.

Amazing !!! I don’t often write Unilocal reviews but this place deserves it. I came in at 9 am for a gel mani and pedi and every chair in the salon was full! Even though they were super busy and I didn’t have an appointment, they seated me immediately !!!
Hygiene:
I work in public health (and have a master’s degree in public health) and this place is the cleanest and most sterile salon I’ve ever been too ! Literally textbook example of nail salon cleanliness. Personally, I think they even go beyond that. They use an autoclave to sterilize their instruments (gold standard) and everything else they use is disposable. They even line the pedicure tubs with disposable plastic liners that they replace after each patron.

I came here after my nail salon quality decreased drastically. This place is really good. Why?
Here is a few positive aspects that the nail salon has that I haven’t seen in other places.
Everything is essentially so clean. All there tools are sterilized. They open the peel pack of instruments right in front of you. The pedicures are so sanitary they use a new scrub pad and cover the foot tub with a plastic cover so essentially your feet never touch the actual tub.
The only downside is you must make an appointment if you want to see someone good. There are people who work there who do not I repeat DO NOT do good work. As a perfectionist I really look for someone meticulous and I found that in Tiffany (make an appointment and shes off Thursday). While essentially they are more expensive ie:$ 25 dollars for a gel manicure and $ 15 for a pedicure, BUT THEN AGAIN ITS WORTH IT! They are so nice and accommodating. I will only go to Tiffany though. I’ve heard Gary and Maggie are also good. Make an appointment because, it can be busy and if you have to go somewhere you will WAIT.
It has become my «go to» spot for manicures and pedicures. If you have ingrown toes they take there time taking them out. Extremely helpful. They don’t charge you for taking off your gel manicure if you put on a new set.
They recently renovated the place so its new. They also have a large selection of mood changing color gels, and other gel colors. They’ll even help you match your gel color with your regular toe color.
Best part of this all is they accept credit cards. TIP CASH.

I popped in without an appointment for a pedicure ($ 15) and they told me there was a 30-​minute wait. I got in after 15 – 20 minutes of waiting. Thank goodness! I was actually in a hurry. To be honest, I was pushing it real close but hey, I was desperate and they handled it well.
I didn’t catch the name of the lady who did my nails but she knew that I was in a hurry and tried her best to speed up the process without doing a sloppy job. She got everything done within 15 minutes. It took another 15 minutes to dry but I left 5 minutes shy of that time frame. When I left, she kindly reminded me that the polish was not completely dried. That really comforted me because to me, it showed that she cares about her customers.
More to say, the salon was extremely clean and hygienic! Everything, from the plastic bag that wrapped around the tub to the files, were disposable!
Definitely coming back again.

I have been here a couple of times based on reviews on various sources. The majority of the people there a very nice. So far I have worked with sunny and Emily both were super sweet and attentive. They do exactly what I ask for and have a large selection of designs and different bling they can add to the nail. The place isn’t the most beautiful spot I have been too, but everything is very clean. They sterilize their tools in a medical grade sterilizer, line the pedicure tubs with a plastic bag that they change after every client, and use disposable files that you can take home with you after which is always a plus.
The prices are pretty fair, I paid $ 25 for a gel manicure and eyebrow wax. Usually I don’t like going to salons like this for wax, but I was short for time and didn’t feel like traveling. But wow I was surprised Emily did such a great job with them.
The only downfall is the lady in the front can be a little rude. I had called to make an appointment and she said it’s fine come in. I tried to explain that I couldn’t get out of work for another hour and a half so I preferred to make an appointment since Friday nights get busy. She didn’t want to listen and hung up. Fine. But then I got stuck waiting over 20 min until someone was free. After I had left I realized I left my credit card there, I called and asked and all she did was say Yes we have a visa and hung up. Didn’t let me finish the conversation. Maybe it’s just a language barrier so I won’t Deter from me coming back. Overall the I would recommend the place. :))

To me this is the best nail salon I’ve gone too. They all do amazing work. I’ve been going to them for years. You can bring them any design you want and they will do it for you. They can be a little pricey but remember you get what you pay for. I always do gel color since it stays longer than regular polish. They also do eyebrows really good. I just love coming here they are very welcoming and always do an amazing job.

Tiffany is great, she can do anything you want without hesitation. I’ve gone for about a year now and I’ve showed her pictures and she’s replicated the image almost perfectly every time. love love LOVE this salon!

If you’re looking for efficiency, this is the place to be. A no-​frills nail studio. Don’t expect a back massage while drying or an offer of coffee or tea, though– this is NOT a salon or spa. Got a fantastic quick pedicure and eyebrow wax in under 40 minutes for only $ 17. Efficiency, efficiency, efficiency! I’ll definitely be back!

This place is packed on July 3^rd. But I have been coming here since a few years back. I usually try to get Wendy but most of the staff there are pretty good. Last time I had the dude do a Yankee nail and was very careful and efficient. Out of all the local places I’ve tried, even ones with higher price tags, these guys give you the longest lasting color. Three and a half stars is what I want to give this place.

I had my second manipedi here two days ago! I went with my mom and my sister whose 11. It was really really nice!
The girl who did it for me, Ping, was so sweet. So she saw that I broke my big toe nail quite terribly. I didn’t even know that they had fake toe nails! But they do. And she did it for me free of charge. It was so nice of her. I got a basic pedicure and a gel manicure. She did a pretty decent job of cuticle cutting and polishing. But what I really loved was the little flowers she put on them. They were kind of a splurge though. But it came out so nice!
For my sister, a bald guy did hers and it came out really nice too. She had a green base dotted with white flowers.
My mom’s looked the best though. Ask for Maggie! She had a nude base with white lilies on it for her manicure and a deep purple base with white/​pink flower design on her toes. But a little while later, the purple base polish on her toes started to bleed into the white flowers Maggie made. It was a terrible polish and it wasn’t her fault, but she offered to do it over again free of charge even though it was 10:30 at night and the shop was empty except for us.
I would recommend this place for manipedis but it is quite pricey.

I don’t usually write reviews on Unilocal,but my experience was so bad I felt the need to. Also, if the manager is reading this– I’m as fair as anyone can imagine and honest. I am reflecting on my visit at your store and don’t believe I received the treatment I deserve and paid for. Came in on Tues (5÷21÷13)
This was my third or fourth visit at this salon. Already expecting not so great customer service from previous visits, I was on a time constraint so I walked in hoping things would be a little different. I don’t understand why these ladies should treat me any different from the other customers. Is it because I’m younger and a student that you don’t think I should be treated with full service that I’m PAYING for?! Everyone’s experience can vary depending on who you get, but I don’t even know the name of the woman who did my nails so I can’t warn you to avoid her.
So anyway, I got seated for my pedicure. The lady turned on the massage chair, I grabbed a few magazines, and soaked my feet foamy warm water. So far everything’s normal. I get pedicures often enough to know what the basic process is. A pedicure does not take 5 mins. This lady rushed every step as if she had ten customers waiting for her and did a really sloppy job. The whole point of a pedicure for me is the cleaning/​scrubbing dead skin cells part and she barely did it. The massage was barely a massage and the hot towel was used more to clean her own hands than my legs and feet. I don’t give two shits about the color (‘scuse my language). I hate half assed done jobs. This was completely half assed.
We walked over for my manicure and I am still so horrified by the job done, which I only noticed when I walked over to the dryers. I would have asked for a complete do over if I had the time. My dad could have done a better job. The sides are missing nail polish and again she rushed the job. Also, too aggressive when pushing and removing my cuticles.
I’m more angry at the process than the final job done even though both were really crappy. I don’t understand why she was in such a rush. It was a Tuesday afternoon… Not busy at all. If you’re a regular there, you can disregard this since you know who to go to. If you’re new, go somewhere else. There’s a new hair/​nail salon next door. I’ll go to that one next time.
I want my money back.

Dedicated customer to this salon since my early teen years. Theyre work is always quality theyre friendly and accomidating and they do eyebrows to perfection. Not over priced either!
