The staff is professional, courteous and friendly. The work was beyond my satisfaction.
I understand things can take time, especially when waiting for parts. This shop did their best to get my car back to me as quickly as possible.
I hadn’t been to their shop before. Their shop was listed as a recommended shop by MetLife auto insurance. (Some jerk crashed into my parked car and took off). When I arrived, I was pleased by the appearance and comfort of the waiting area and even more pleased when my car was presented to me for inspection for release.
I hope I never need a body shop again, but if I do, they’ll get my business.

They left my car parked on the street illegally and when it got a ticket they took the ticket off and didn’t tell me. I found out when the city mailed me a threatening letter demanding I pay. If they’re this dishonest about something they had to know I would find out about i wonder what els they would try to get away with work wise.

Below my review this owner in which I did meet & REMEMBER VERY Well sent me a message. Dear owner Mr. J, I am not mistaken at all. My memory is very well intact & unforgettable. I got the right spot & location with ALL YOUR GOOD LUCK PLANTS IN THE WINDOW & OFFICE. I also have your authorization approval for the 2 parking tickets that you paid. So who’s not telling the truth here.

Not only did the team at G&B do a beautiful job on my car which looks like new, they completed it on time and kept me updated along the way about their progress.
But the real story is that when the car was ready, I walked 40 minutes to pick it up and realized when I went to pay that I had forgotten my wallet at home. That’s when Devon, one of the managers generously offered to drive me home in my own car to retrieve my wallet so I could pay them and get my car back. I was SO relieved and grateful. I left feeling positive not only about the work done on my car but about the kindness of strangers, and people doing generous things when it is of no real profit or benefit to them.

G&B did a great job on my rear bumper. My car was ready on time as promised. See Devon James. He is a great guy.

Excellent customer service, attention to detail and a big plus is that this shop’s a registered Geico Express facility. All repairs are guaranteed and well documented for any future automotive needs. I’d highly recommend them because the owner and his staff were friendly, caring and accommodating. My car was fixed within the timeframe I was quoted and looks brand new after some severe damage to the exterior. Whenever there was a delay for parts I was informed and immediately helped by the G & B manager on duty.

This place is the worst. I brought my Acura in for service since it was a Geico express location. I needed the rear bumper replaced and the passenger side quarter panel fixed. Dropped my car off on a Monday and was told I would have it back by Friday. Everything seemed fine with their text updates until I called on Thursday to confirm pickup. I was then told that the car would not be ready until Tuesday. I call again on Monday to confirm that the car would be ready and was told that it still wasn’t and that it should be ready on Wednesday. I call AGAIN on Tuesday and they tell me that my car will be ready. THANK GOD! I go on Wednesday to pick up my car. The manager takes me over to inspect it and guess what? NO BUMPER!!!
I finally got my car back on Friday, a week later than I was told it would be ready. I almost stopped using Geico because of this experience. Avoid these jokers at G&B at all costs. I have never worked with a less professional garage in my life!

poor service, and NEVER ON TIME! will tell you on the first day car will take 3 – 5 days and you will NOT get your car back for about 3 weeks! when you do get your car back it will NOT BE DONE, so you will take it back and complain and they will pretend this never happens and they will fix it and take and few days! lmao PATHETIC!
I’m BLACK and hate this place! can’t see how they hell anyone gave them 5 stars! smh. I dropped off my car and schedule to leave town so that i wouldn’t have to take a train or cab i was gone an entire week even when they said it would take 3−5days! i never got a call for delay. Only after planning to go get car i call to be told its not ready until NEXT WEEK! once next week came i was told it was going to be TODAY! when i called today… u guessed it… TOMORROW it will be ready LMAO LMAO what a joke

I’ve been going to G&B for the past few years and i’ve always been satisfied with their level of professionalism!
Most recently my fiancé and I were in a minor accident and had to have the entire front right panel replaced… It may have taken a couple of days longer than expected but that was due to the insurance company’s response to the claim… Needless to say we were very pleased with the results and our car looks BRAND NEW! I would totally recommend G&B

Do not take your car to this shop.
A couple of months ago my car was hit by a plow. GEICO has a business relationship with this shop, so I met a GEICO agent here to have an estimate done for the body repairs (a couple thousand dollars of work). The estimate says repairs should take 10 days.
Here is my experience:
24 days ago: I called saying I had an estimate done and would like to have my work done there. They told me to fax the estimate and call tomorrow to talk to someone to let me know when to drop it off.
23 days ago: I talk to someone who has not yet seen the faxed estimate. They hunt it down. They tell me they will order the two parts that take the longest to arrive so they can start work when it starts, especially since I don’t have rental coverage so they can get it done as quickly as possible.
17 days ago: I show up on the day I was told to drop off my car. My car is not in their computer, and no one knows what I am talking about. Eventually they find someone who I talked to about my fax, but they didn’t put the info in the computer or order parts. I ask if it will be done in 8 days, as I’m planning to drive out of town for a holiday. They say «yes» without reservation.
9 days ago: I call to arrange to pick up my car the next day when I was told it would be done. It’s not done. In fact, they haven’t started working on it. They have taken a few parts off, they tell me. After I remind the shop that they had told me I had been promised it would be done, they offer to put it back together so I can use it for the weekend. After talking to 3 different people, including being patched through to someone I’m told is the manager who isn’t in the shop, they finally agree to pay for a rental car for my weekend trip and tell me everything will be arranged when I show up to pick up the rental car.
8 days ago: I go to pick up the rental car. I’m not in their computer. I tell them what I was told by the body shop, and they said, «it doesn’t work like that and you don’t have a reservation. we don’t know what you’re talking about.» I call the body shop. They make some calls. After making me miss an appointment dealing with this phone tag, there is a car waiting. I have to pay for it at this point, presumably the auto body shop will reimburse me.
2 days ago: I call to ask when my car will be ready. I’m told I will get a call back. I don’t.
Yesterday: I call again to ask when my car will be ready. I’m told «it’s in the paint shop now.» It will be ready tomorrow and I can pick it up after work. I ask whether it will be ready at 2, and they say I can call around 10 in the morning to get a better idea of pick up time.
Today: I call at 2:30 to find out if I can pick it up now or at 5. I’m told it will be ready the middle of next week.
I’m super disappointed in this experience. As a result, I’ve now had to cancel my plans for this weekend, as I relied on the word of people at this shop.
Do not take your car here.

Picked up my car on Saturday and since it was raining extremely hard, I didn’t notice any strange noises. This afternoon I drove my car and it definitely makes a sound it didn’t make prior to the accident. Now I have to take my car back tomorrow. I hope it gets fixed quickly. Will update on the progress.
On Tuesday, April 1^st I finally speak to Devon to explain the situation with the car. He states that I need to bring it back. I explain that I need my vehicle to drive to and from work and therefore they would have to provide me with a rental. He stated to me to call him back as he needed to discuss this with his manager. After a few hours of calling and being told he wasn’t available, I finally spoke to Devon again who stated he can arrange the rental.
I asked a friend to ride with me in the car to identify where the sound was coming from. The friend opened the hood of the car and saw a rag sitting on the engine. Of course I was surprised to see a rag on my engine. This could have lead to a fire.
I called G & B and told Devon that I was not happy with how irresponsible they were in leaving the rag there in the first place and that now I would be taking the car to my own mechanic and informing Geico that they did not fix my car correctly after the accident. I am also going to inform the Better Business Bureau so that the money that was paid to them from Geico because of my insurance can be reimbursed.
I am also looking into where else I can lodge a formal complaint because I am so disgusted with the fact that my car still has some type of noise and that they left a rag on the engine which could have resulted in something serious happening.

Picked up my MDX yesterday and it came back perfectly and completely detailed. Basically dropped off my rental and was out of there in 10 minutes. Kudos to geico for their wonderful service. G and B have a wonderful facility with Geico and Enterprise on site. Everything was easy, easy, easy.
And by the way the collision damage was repaired like new.

On September 13, 2013, I brought my car in to get some body work done, and to have the rims replaced; I was told by Kijana, the owner/​manager, that the rims would be sent out for repair. I told him, in no uncertain terms, that I was going out of town and needed by car back on September 24, 2013, eleven days later. This was a three day job. When I returned on the 24^th, I was told the rims had not been done and thus the car was not ready for pick up. I was told that I would get a call back at noon. Not receiving a call, I called back at 2:30 and was told that my car would be ready at 6:30 p.m. I went to pick up my car at that time, and not only had the rims not been done, but none of the body work had been done at all. Nothing. They had my car for 11 days and didn’t do a thing. Actually, they did. They stole all of the change that I keep in my car and my nail clippers that I keep in the same place.
I was told that this was a mixup and that they would give me a loaner car and a discount on the price. I was promised a call the next day. That was 9 days ago, and still no call. I have never seen anything like this.

Wow this place is just the worst. They tried to give me my car back with a dent in the new panel they replaced. When I asked them about it they had to get the manager to confirm it was a dent and not «style». As soon as the manager saw it he was like yea i guess you will have to come back later to pick it up so we can fix that dent.
They were supposed to take the car for an alignment. They charged me for one but never did. I brought my car to the dealer with in the week and they told me it was very badly aligned and no way someone did this alignment. When I spoke with the body shop they told me that since the car left the facility they take to responsibility.
I would never use them again under any circumstance.

Have had a terrible experience at this auto shop. After reading some of the positive reviews, and after talking to the owners who appear very nice in person, I decided to take my car here. I was to get my car back last thursday, and it’s not yet with me. It has been over a week now for replacing a bumper and grill. I am now actually worried about my car. Staff does not return calls. I was told on Saturday to go over at 4:30 p.m. to pick up my car, and waited for over an hour after getting there to even talk to someone. After the owner met with me, they told me the car was still not ready — come back next week. There seemed to be confusion — between the manager Jesse, the owner Ellis and another guy that works at the shop — about who said what when and why. They kept complaining about each other to a CUSTOMER!
Today is the day I was to get my car, but of course they have not delivered as per promise! Worst auto shop (including customer service) experience I have had in brooklyn so far.

We shopped around for some body work, found G & B. Their estimate was the most reasonable. The actual cost turned out less than the estimate. And, the work was excellent. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgable.

I originally took my car over here because they have a Geiko representative onsite and we had damage to our car when a bunch of heavy tree branches fell on it during a snowstorm. Our car is pretty new and we didn’t have a body shop already. I was going to take it to the Toyota dealership, but the shop had good reviews on Unilocal so I decided to leave it. The people who work here are very nice and did excellent work; they also finished the work exactly when they said they would. The car looked just like new when I picked it up. The owner kept saying he wanted to make sure I was happy and made sure everything was taken care of so the car looked great. I highly recommend this shop if you need body work done on your car.

So I just had to write an update! I am happy to say that not only did I get a speedy response from Geico, I got the same efficient speedy resolution. I spoke with the Supervisor, Frank, and to make a long story/​review short, he restored my faith. He wasn’t condescending — in fact, he was the opposite and couldn’t understand what went wrong but wouldn’t stop until everything was fixed. So, I am once again a fan of G+B Auto Collision!!! They get major brownie points for wanting to find a happy resolution AND for sticking to their warranty/​guarantee. My car is back to feeling like her olé self again! =]

Exceptional Work
Even washed my car!

G&B was recommended by State Farm after a break-​in in my car. Surprisingly, that recommendation was a particularly poor one. They dragged their feet making the repair — taking close to 5 weeks to replace a steering column, fix a dent and repaint the passenger door. I wouldn’t have been so frustrated if they were actually able to hold to their promises of completion dates and times but they never called, even to let me know it was going to take more time. When I was finally able to pick up the car, it was dirtier than when I brought it in! They promised it would be vacuumed and cleaned and it most certainly was not. There were bits of metal and plastic, pieces of the inside of the dashboard, and greasy fingerprints all over the car! A window that was operating when I brought the car in no longer operated and the paint job (shown to me at night, of course) could probably have been done better by a blind person with a hand tremor! They even went so far as to bill my insurance for an alignment that was never done! This might have been the worst «repair» job I’ve ever seen. Long story short… State Farm was so embarrassed by the quality of the repair, they covered getting all of the work re-​done at a different (more reputable) shop.
I wish I could give less than one star.
