History

Established in 2007.

Half a year after the launch of Jaded Enterprises LLC in the summer of 2007, it spawned an events production company False Aristocracy under which to operate. in 2008, only six months later, the founder curated its False Gallery’s first group pop-​up art show at Supreme Trading Gallery, entitled «To Make A Nightmare». In 2009 a second group art show was held at House of Yes with a solo show to follow at the Sputnik Bar gallery. Since 2008, False Aristocracy has also been curating nightlife and performance art events at various venues such as Ether, a weekly electro and burlesque event, and Curious, a performance art and variety burlesque show at new york’s landmark venue, Piano’s. In 2010 False Aristocracy opened a show room gallery and work space at hausNY, which also functions as a functional installation as well as video and film production studio.
