Chill spot, limited menu but gets the job done, drinks are good. Small space but they have a garden. Friendly people with ratchet music. No hipsters. Have a few outlets to work at a large shared table. Surprised that no one else has discovered this. Famous last words.

BESTPLACETOSTUDY/WORK in Bushwick Friendly staff, short range and long range wifi. They accept credit cards and have no minimums. Can fit lots of people in doors with 2 rooms and a huge backyard with charging ports. Brooklyn Roasters Coffee beans, Iris Espresso, and Mocha Java(All Brooklyn Based) Cheap good food and healthy food/snacks. Vegan options. $ 1 bagels. They have lots of fliers from local businesses which means their nice and support the local community. This is my go to spot from now on!

Visited this spot for the first time and had a great experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the space itself was super relaxed. Free wifi and plenty of room to get work done. The egg sandwich was good and the coffee was fresh. I’ll definitely be back.

Dope coffee. Dope bagel. This place rules. Although I only had a plain bagel with Sicilian cream cheese, the woman sitting next to me had«The Classic.» This is a breakfast sandwich and it looked pretty dope, too. The prices were very reasonable(including a %25 tip, my bill was less than $ 7) if you’re in Bushwick and need a bagel, here’s your spot.

Excellent staff, coffee is just about the best I’ve tasted in NYC yet and their TMZ sandwhich is divine. Also: the art is rad.

Express Yourself is the BEST coffee shop in Bushwick. Not only is the coffee great and the staff friendly, but the atmosphere encourages meeting people and is a great space to hang out for a couple hours. Ronnie and Izzy the owners are super friendly and approachable and support a variety of community causes. There is a great backyard space to enjoy as well.

Really like this place. It’s hipster/modern/fresh products/ambience. Espresso/coffees are solid. Has a great meet up/work atmosphere. Spacey with two basic/somewhat fancy rooms, nothing fancy. Free wifi. Somewhat clean bathrooms. Very easy.

A cool espresso bar with great coffee and even better service. I was in need for a coffee fix and as I’m very picky with the way I like my espresso I looked for the best espresso bar around and sure enough that’s what I got at Barista Bar. Defiantly recommend that spot.

I love this place! Everyone that works here is always super friendly and kind to my dog :) It’s the perfect place to grab something to go OR hang out. They have a nice back patio with some benches; I like to sit out here with my coffee and hang out with my pup.

Really kind and personable staff and plenty of workspace and outlets. Free wifi, no card min, good iced coffee. They just introduced a gourmet grilled cheese and it’s delicious, but I’d encourage them to continue expanding options on the food menu. Only 4 sandwiches to choose from and a build-a-bagel menu. The backyard will be great when they put in decent outdoor furniture. Maybe next summer. This is my go-to morning coffee spot, I stop in most days :)

Move over, Swallow – this is my new favorite café. Best cold brew in town AND they serve my favorite cookies(Vegan Sunrise). The baristas are cool, authentic people and the vibe here is awesome. My only complaint(it’s a niche complaint, so no star deductions) is that they don’t have vegan/tofu cream«cheese» like Swallow and my other favorite coffee shops do. I would come here 5 days/week if they could give me a good vegan bagel. But – being pup-freindly, having a killer back patio, and taking CCs TOTALLY pushes them above«good» and warrants the 5-star review. Despite the vegan shortcomings, this place raises the bar really high for what I expect from coffee shops in this neighborhood. Keep it up!

Very cool spot. Came across this place after dropping off my bike down the road for a fix. I wanted donuts and to my surprise, they sell Dough donuts($ 2.50 each) and I’m all for it. They have a small but delicious sandwich menu and a fairly standard coffee menu. I got the café au lait donut(highly recommended if you like crumbly coffee things) and my friend got the hibiscus donut(highly recommended if you like sweetness with a bit of tartiness). The dude behind the counter is friendly and helpful when it came to menu items and let my friend and I sample some cold brew. The place is really relaxed and has a decent sized backyard that’s next to some place with a live dj in the back spinning some electronic beats if that’s what you’re into. All in all, this is a great place to grab coffee and a quick bite to eat with a couple friends and just relax. Also, free wifi and no card minimum!

I don’t understand the 5 star reviews. Overpriced, bitter iced coffee and iced latte. Graffiti on the walls does not a good coffee shop make, but perhaps to newer transplants it does. If you are rating them based on their doughnuts, know that they don’t even make them. The same ones are available at Milk & Pull.

I plan on visiting this spot more frequently! The Iced Coffee was a bit bitter but the Dulce De Leche doughnut was great! I bought my lady the Chai Iced Tea at the recommendation of the counterman and we both loved it. The venue was completely empty and I love the artwork along the walls and the overall setup inside. The music(old school hip-hop) playing at the time also added great vibes.

This is a really cute, good vibe coffee shop find in the middle of Bushwick. I came out here for lunch and needed a quick cup of coffee and found this place on my CUPS app! Good strong coffee and nice staff!

5 stars because why not. Fast internet, Brooklyn Roasting Company drip/espresso coffee, they accept credit cards and I easily found a spot to post up with my laptop on a Sunday morning. Not your typical hipster coffee envviroment. The oldies/80’s station reminds me of something my parents would play, which is fine. Local patrons seem to treat the place like an extension of their living room, bringing in their dogs, kids, bikes, etc., without a second thought, which I’m all about! Try to bring a dog or some kids into Little Skips during the morning hour rush… not gunna happen. This place definitely raises the bar on what it takes for a coffee shop too survive in the up-and-coming Bushwick café battlefield.

Sick place. I seek coffee every hour of the day and this place more than satisfied my desires. Vast menu and the cold brew is just mad, you HAVE to try. If you’re a hip hop head(like moi) get yourself in there. The art and music are dope and the staff are more than friendly. Great pricing and you’ll leave buzzing…
