Ohhh boy! Where to begin?
It seems people are upset at the lack of English speakers here, but hey! Such is NYC. That is not even what led to the 1 star!
1. The place looks like you have walked into a crack house in Tiajuana, Mexico. It is SHADY AS FUUUUUGGG. Everything is really run down and screams THIS PLACE IS NOT CLEAN! **I was desperate and stuck it out… why? I couldn’t tell you**
2. The girl doing my pedicure looked underage
3. The pedicure HURT. It actually REALLY HURT as she worked on my toes. I am a regular go-​er of pedicures and can’t imagine if you were going in with rough feet.
4. The massage chairs DO NOT WORK.
5. I opted for a foot rub, as I am on my feet all week and figured «fug it, I’m here and it is a posted service.» Well, the girl looked like I had just asked her to kill her family. While giving me a foot massage, she was seen with some VERY telling facial expressions of utter misery to her coworkers across the room. I felt so horrible that I told her it was okay and asked her to stop.
6. Following my pedicure, I was directed to sit in a folding chair in front of a LEAF BLOWER! I almost lost it and started cracking up. Was this real life?
The final product was not bad, as she did paint my toes well. I am just more than slightly concerned that I will end up with an infection.
MORAL OF THE STORY… DO YOURSELF THE FAVOR AND TAKE THE TRAIN A FEW STOPS CLOSER TO MANHATTAN.
WILL NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER GO BACK HERE.

Their prices are cheap, but you get what you pay for!
I used to come here till my pedicure messed up my toe nail. They used to make you sign your name on their list and called you in that order, but that was a while ago, not sure if they still do that. And when you had to dry your nails, you would stand next to the table with three leave blowers. I usually bring my own nail polish because majority of the times they had tacky colors or dried up nail polish.
Its usually not that crowded and they usually spend about 1 hr or less on your nails

These reviews are ridiculous– no they can’t speak English but they do understand when you speak to them in English. Full set, gel manicure, pedicure, whatever it is– they will understand you! Have a design in mind? bring them a picture or chose from the many designs they have on display.
Full set of tips, pedicure or gel manicure for $ 12 mon– wed and $ 15 any other day– you can’t go wrong! It is not a fancy spot by any means, but they do a decent job.
The ladies are also very nice.

This place is SCARY. It wasn’t the fact that literally no one spoke English, nor that you had to climb a flight of nasty stairs to get there, but the manicure (although cheap as balls) was the worst I’ve ever gotten. The language barrier repeatedly became a problem (asked for leopard print and she gave me zebra), and the nail polish was cheap and streaky. I even had to dip my fingers in the dirty nail polish remover container myself. Don’t go here.

Even the door is dirty. I’m broke and their price list was inviting, so I walked upstairs. The sign said open, but once I was in the middle of the floor a woman walked behind me and flipped the door hang to «sorry, we’re closed». No one seemed to speak any English — just every worker shook their heads until I left AT 6PM ON A TUESDAY! The space is cramped, unorganized, and very dirty. Do not let the ads fool you into believing Envy is a value — it is cheap and gross. I went to Cat Nails: 1 block North, across the street.

I followed my nail lady here and it was the worst thing I have ever done.
One week after putting on a new set, I got a call from her asking for me to come to her house because she needed to see my nails right away. That night she removed the set and my nails were completely destroyed. They use subpar products that will end up eating your nails — and left me with few and on two fingers only one layer of nail left between my nails and my finger. It was the most painful recovery of cracking, bleeding, and just horrible nails.
They offer a really cheap price — but in this case — it is way to good to be true.
