Elite Event at Twenty3 Supper Club

Peter D did a great job with this place.
Their decord is excellent, fancy looking place and prices according to the menu are very decent.
the food was really good, the staff very attentive and their drinks very different from most places.
I will definetly venture out to BK for this place.

I drove from the very northern tip of Queens to get to the Elite Event at Twenty3 Supper Club in Bay Ridge and I am so glad I did. Bay Ridge is quite a ways to go! It was over an hour of driving. I was pretty happy to see that Twenty3 had valet parking. Great plus!
When I saw Twenty3 from outside I was struck by the fancy tiling and just the look of the exterior. It was really nice from the outside… as I enter the establishment… every step I took and every glance I took to look at the interior I was struck with awe. I was mesmerized by the waterfall behind the bar. I was looking at the texture and lighting that was under the bar counter. I was admiring the décor a lot. I was touching the banquettes. Looking at the shelves along the wall and the decorations adorning the shelves. I was taking pics in the bathroom. I loved the tiling on some of the walls. The restaurant is very chic and modern. It’s very very comfortable and the ambience helps make me want to stay longer. Nice vibe in Twenty 3 Supper Club.
The first thing I pay attention to nowadays is the décor. Not sure if it’s because I am also renovating my new apartment.
Twenty3 is a really cool place to hang out and have a few drinks.

Good job by Peter arranging an event in a part of Brooklyn the average Unilocaler might not frequent. You have to give it to the owner and her staff – they’re trying to drum up business for a new joint and they brought their A game, pouring drinks non-​stop and offering great service. It was also great to see so many authentic Bay Ridge paisans and paisanettes staffing the place.
The drinks, all pink and delightfully girly, were not bad. I liked the Twenty3 (which had a splash of St. Germain in addition to the vodka). The hors d’oeuvres were pretty tasty – my favorites were the mac ‘n’ cheese croquettes and meatballs (yum).
Most impressive was the service, top to bottom. The owner was very friendly, courteous, and professional, and the bartenders and wait staff performed their jobs admirably on a night when they were mobbed with Unilocalers and their tips were not guaranteed. For those who are into lounges and live in southwest Brooklyn, check it out.

My 500^th review could not be more fitting. Of course, it had to be about an Elite event and not only that, my first one of 2012!
I don’t know much about Bay Ridge, except that I’ve only come down to this ‘hood for Brooklyn Elite events, and each time I do, I leave with a full and satisfied belly! This time, my plus one and I left in a serious food coma.
Twenty3 Supper Club is swanky, sexy and inviting. You walk in and can’t stop but be mesmerized by the waterfall mirror thingy behind the bar. This place did it right by making sure we were well fed and for the first time ever at an Elite event, I was refusing food towards the end. What! I know! My favorite was the filet mignon skewers and the chorizo empanadas. I wasn’t too fond of the drinks but I loved how they were served — the ice was in the shape of your glass! I’m easily wowed, I guess.
The staff were lovely and I had the pleasure of talking to one of the owners, Linda.

This place appeals to all walks of people; those that are memorized by pretty awesome backlighting to a custom menu, to those of us that like our drinks literally poured into a makeshift cup out of ice. Cool huh?!?
The Pink Berry Lemonade got me totally and happily tipsy by the time I finished only one serving! Some words that came to mind when you read that:
«Pathetic!» or «Whimpy!» and most definitely, «Where’d mine go?!» All three Unilocal Drinks seemed to be crowd pleasers; I was content! Cheers to Thirsty Tuesdays!
The décor could have had me fooled if I was either in Manhattan or Williamsburg. Decorated with candles and mirrors, I was pleased to see how clean and vibrant it made the place! The little touches that adored the walls and corners made the space inviting, comfortable, sassy, and as sexy as Phil H’s blazer. HELLO!
Peter D. was mac-​ing it at the bar while I opted to mac & cheese it.
My only gripe with the mac & cheese was that I didn’t get an overwhelming taste of cheese; only the grated cheese on top of my cherry tomato. No grease here, and presentation made this little suckers hard to say no too; bravo!
The «App of the Night» was hard to come by, but to me, it was heavy yet light 1^st for the crab cakes! A blissful blend of creamy mashed potato with lump crab and drizzled with that wasabi sauce made it finger licking good! I would definitely come back and get a heaping plate of those! So good!

I traveled all the way out to the wilds of Bay Ridge to get hungover — and it was surely worth it!
After over an hour on the subway I was starting to wonder if we were ever going to make it there, but at least it’s only a few blocks away once getting off. Twenty3 Supper Club is kind of in a funny location surrounded by mainly car dealerships, but once you enter this one time steakhouse you are struck by how beautiful it is inside. I met one of the owners, Linda, who told me they bought the spot and have only been open for about a month and a half. She designed the layout herself and you could tell was very proud of the décor and the finished product. She should be — this place looks terrific and absolutely beautiful.
Classy and swanky at the same time you feel as if this is a high end supper club that you would find in Vegas, but with a very warm and inviting feel. Beauty everywhere. Flowers, seating, lighting, the waterfall behind the bar, the terrific bathrooms, the wine cellar, the furniture accents, the music, the glassware, etc. I think many of us were truly blown away by how nice this place is. What a great spot for an Elite event. The trek here was far for me, but I am so glad I ventured out.
The staff here is so friendly and accommodating. The owner kept coming around to chat with everyone and see how were were doing. It seemed liked they really enjoyed having us there and showing off their new place. The food and drinks were non-​stop and fabulous! I am feeling it today as I drank way too many Cavoda vodka cocktails. The bartenders did these drinks justice with a good pour that’s for sure! Thank god for coffee today!
The food that came out of the kitchen made me want to come back here for dinner. Beef empanadas were terrific, mac & cheese balls, meatballs, beef filet skewers, grilled chicken sliders, shrimp po boy sliders, and crab coquettes all were prepared wonderfully with a chic twist. Terrific food! Hats off to their chef!
Again, I just have to say how impressed I was with the service here. All were friendly, professional, and attentive. The bartenders were quick with the drinks and super nice. The owners have picked out an exemplary staff. We had just the right amount of Unilocalers at this event, and it did not seem crowded at all which made it even better. Many new faces here mixed in with some of the old school crowd that I know. Twenty3 Supper Club was just a perfect spot for this.
Big props to Peter D and the Unilocal team for setting up this wonderful night. Also have to thank the owner I met, Linda, for opening up their doors to us. Wonderfully classy, beautiful, and chic!

Unilocal Elite Events– you did it again! Drink specials and multiple appetizers. Thank you very much! It’s always nice to see a bunch of elite Unilocalers out testing new food. I must admit Bay Ridge isn’t really the most convenient of areas, but hey the world doesn’t revolve around me (so I’ve been told), so I hope that you continue to shake up the locations.
Service here was super awesome, food was ok and location was urgh. Hard to rate with that combination. I was surprised that more people didn’t attend, but that just meant more for those that did attend:-)

Terrrrrific! Delicous cocktails served out of actual ice?! Yes please.
Not to mention they brought out so much food that I found myself turning down stuff! Crazy right? I know. However that crab croquet with the wasabi sauce thing drizzled on it?! OH MY!!! Not to mention those meatballs… yumsssss…Those skewers were so delicious… and now I’m drooling on my keyboard… smh
