Angelo and EKG plumbing are absolutely the best. Angelo came recommended from my coop managing agent and I can see why! He was able to accommodate me that very day and repaired the issue at hand quickly and diligently. Furthermore, Angelo made himself available by phone later that night when I had a follow up questions and spend 20 minutes on the phone with me. A few weeks later an unrelated issue arose and when I called Angelo on a Sunday, he again walked me through the repair via phone and asked me to send him photos so he could best understand the issue. In the end Angelo was able to direct me to repair the issue myself but I beyond appreciated his immediate handling of the situation at hand, friendly demeanor and generosity with his time. I would without a doubt recommend EKG to a fellow homeowner and am grateful to have Angelo as my go-​to plumber.

If you are searching for a plumber, you can stop now. These guys are top notch. It is so so so important to hire someone with a license and insurance, and these guys do everything by the book. So many plumbers out there, including some of the best-​reviewed ones on Unilocal,are not licensed.
For my project, I needed a toilet replaced. Angelo told me where to look online for the right model, and what to look for. All I did was email him the model number of the toilet and he took care of the rest — he even found a better price than I had found, and picked up the toilet from the store on the day of the installation.
And when he found some problematic work that had been done by previous plumbers, he fixed that during the installation.
These guys know what they’re doing, plus customer service is a priority for them. After he quoted me a price, I asked him to explain what that entailed and why it cost what it did. He was so responsive — he emailed me an explanation that not only made sense, but that I could easily compare to other plumbers’ quotes. I did get other quotes and ended up going back to him — the price was fair and you can’t beat the way he treats his clients. I wanted to be comfortable with the installation, and I am.
He also did the job in just a couple hours, and my bathroom looks great!

Angelo and Yusef came in last week to investigate and repair a leak in my bathroom, originating in the waste line between my line and my upstairs neighbors line. He was referred by my co-​ops management company.
They found that the work performed by a past «plumber» was of terrible quality and installed in a way that never would have passed inspection. It was a wonder the connection hadn’t failed sooner. They protected my bathroom fixtures, coordinated work our management company and showed me the superior materials they planned to install. They were also very friendly and conscientious, vacuuming my bathroom and leaving it as it was when they came.
Angelo is the sort of plumber that insists passionately, above all else, on quality work. Why would someone use inferior materials if they can pay a fraction more to get quality materials (made in the US)? Why wouldn’t someone do the work properly? It was inconceivable to him why this might happen.
He explained the whole process and proudly took before and after photos of his work. «Before» to show his guys what NOT to do.
He pointed out potential sites of failure that were making themselves evident, upstairs. He gave me confidence that I wouldn’t see another leak for many years to come.
