NEVER, EVERGOHERE! It’s right by my apartment, I used to pop in to get something quick, they were«kinda» nice but whatever. I started having problems a few months ago. I dropped in to use their ATM, out of cash. I told the guy and he just laughed at me. So a few weeks later, tried their ATM again, no cash. same reaction from the employee. Okay, so don’t use the ATM because you guys don’t care… got it. Then, about a month ago I bought a 5-hour energy, opened it up a few blocks away and it was full to the brim, odd, and clear, way odd! I took a sip, it was water(maybe). I marched back in, probably with a maniacal look in my eyes, the guy quickly replace it and I swore off going in there again. Well… I tried my luck again today, and low-and-behold I got ANOTHER5-hour energy full of water! WTF?! I stormed in, demanded another one, he laughed and replaced it. I firmly told him to watch their stock, and they that lost a customer. Really, what can you expect from a little rat trap of a bodega… but this is unsafe, unsanitary, and unethical. Why would they do this other than to dupe people out of money? Was it really water and not some tasteless, odorless poison? Will I die from one sip?! Argh, first world problems, I know… dammit. I can see someone doing this in a touristy area, but in Greenpoint? not cool to do that to your neighbors, not cool.
