My friend and I went in to look at different serums etc for middle aged ladies and the young women that work there was more than helpful, not pushy and the knowledge of the different products plus the history of certain brands was astonishing! I didn’t expect that and it was lovely. They even gave us free samples and heads up on sales of more expensive stuff, these ladies are more than helpful and really know their stuff! I really enjoyed shopping here today. I rarely go in and just get something quick and leave but will be going there for make up and age fighting armor ahahahaha. Thanks so much ladies and to the gorgeous one who is off tomorrow, have a fun day for yourself girl!

Open 24⁄7 and they make sure to have several registers open at all times to keep the lines moving. The photo department is top notch: they call me several times if an order is ever delayed to keep me updated each day on the status of the order. You feel like a valued customer here.

The automated phone system says ths pharmacy is open until 6pm on Sunday but, in fact, it closes at 5pm. In going there I just missed going elsewhere that is actually open till 6pm and won’t have my prescription this evening.

I want to commend the cashier at the front register this morning for her warm greeting and good customer service skills. I still enjoy shopping at this location, and I’m grateful that the store carries Papyrus greeting cards.

The place itself looks great after having been remodeled recently, but unfortunately that’s all that has changed. Prices are more expensive than other drugstores and service is worse.
Today I tried to ask for help locating a product but had to wait for two girls working there to finish their personal conversation before one decided to help me.
I won’t be back unless the other nearby drugstores are closed or don’t have what j need!

I felt that the experience I had at this Duane Reade location today was highly unprofessional. The cashier that I encountered today was very incompetent and rude. She had missed one of my coupons, and made an error in the return process, causing the system to read my item as already returned. I left unsatisfied but not before she re-​examined my entire bag because she did not believe she charged me for everything (which low and behold, she did), and made a comment that she does not wear make-​up (products which I bought) as to reprove the fact that I did. Later that day, I went to Walgreens and my refund went through no questions asked. Least to say, I will no longer be shopping at this location.

Went here to drop off a prescription for eye drops during my lunch break because i work close by. Waited 15 mins just to drop off but the guy was being nice and thorough so i didnt mind. I hesitated to go back to pick up my drops because i didnt absolutely need them and i was turned off by the wait. But over the next few days duane reade felt it necessary to call me every am to tell me my prescription was ready. So i reluctantly go on a sunday. Theres one pharmacist by herself and voila the lady that shes already helping had so many drugs being filled, shes got a goody bag. Stood there for 10 mins until these two red necks come along, loud as hell and clearly high, blatantly skips me like the world revolved around them just because they stopped by the pharmacy earlier and was now done wandering around the store. They were to be checked out immediately. It was extremely rude and i was irate but to no avail because thats how things are in brooklyn. You have to be loud, over-​entitled and obnoxious to get your way. They can fix up duane reade, mcds and moddells and have a brand new wendys, but to me its looking more like fulton street: plain ghetto. BTW, the new layouts are dumb. Anyway, even with the rewards and massive variety, i still prefer cvs. And i def wont be going to their pharmacy ever again.

Been awhile since returning to this Duane Reade location but they’ve remodeled since the last time I’ve been here months ago in order to stay relevant and fresh like their Manhattan stores. Good on them.
It’s brighter but no less busy because of their proximity to 86th St. I can’t say much on customer service but they’re constantly stocked up goods on all aisles and the lines appear to have a good flow.
Was here doing errands and checking up on the post-​vday candy liquidation (two small bins left and spare pickings, as if the candy SWAT knew to rush in and liberate the best ones). Note to self: GO earlier

This Duane Reade has been recently upgraded to look like their fancy Manhattan counterparts. They sell Bumble and Bumble products! Although they were sold out of the shampoo I needed, I was still able to pick up a conditioner. Plus, the staff and manager were very helpful. Good to know I don’t have to wait for a Sephora shipment or even Amazon Prime to get my hands on my favorite hair treatments.

First off, any place that sells snacks, medicine, birthday cards, batteries, and nail polish 24⁄7 is a fucking savior in the night.
They are pretty organized and the staff is friendly and helpful. I always find what I need and at decent prices. I’m not sure why other people have had such bad experiences here but I always leave without incident and with a bag full of goodies.

Being open 24 hours is their best thing they have going for them.
I only go here out of necessity because its usually messy and I only ever see employees at the register area.
