My 2013 BMW was over warranty when all of a sudden my transfer case and axles abruptly and fatally failed. I limped into my dealer and got sticker shock of a lifetime. I called Dolphin and they propmtly picked my car up from the dealer on a flatbed. They quickly assessed the damage and necessary repairs. Ray and his crew of top notch mechanics fixed my car like new. Within a few days they dropped the car off at my house and, I was back behind the wheel! The cars runs great and feels brand new! And it cost me a quarter of what the dealer quoted me. No joke Ray at Dolphin saved me thousands of dollars! If I ever have issues with my car again I am going back to Dolphin, and would recommend them to anyone I know who needs professional high-​end mechanical work to repair their car!

My 2005 Land Rover LR3 was on its last legs, barely able to shift out of most of the gears. I had brought it to another shop previously, spent $ 1000 on a «repair», which involved refilling the transmission fluid, which costs hundreds per quart. They told me it was «saved», but less than a month later it was toasted again! All signs pointed to a shot transmission.
I have a warranty that was purchased when I bought the car, and I brought it into Dolphin, and sure enough they were able to pull up the codes for the transmission fault, get the warranty company on the phone, and start the work immediately.
It took about a week to fully service the vehicle, because of the warranty needing confirmation of specific items needing to be addressed, but at the end the transmission was fixed, they argued for additional money from the warranty company, and everything has been smooth since then!
I highly recommend them to anyone! The prices are fair, and the work is solid. You can tell they are experts not only because they only do transmission, but because of the knowledge of their staff.

Customer service at Dolphin is great. They go the extra mile to make their customers happy. I am particulary happy with the way Ray and Richie handled my 2002 Bmw 530I transmission which proved to be tough.

I was shopping for rebuild transmission for my 2009 honda when my mechanic tolled me to go to dolphin they changed my liner solenoid for $ 275 and my car runs like new thank you Ray for being onset and professional un like the other places i went they all wanted to rebuild the transmission

I called Dolphin Transmissions this morning fearing the worst, that my car’s transmission had imploded. After walking through the symptoms with me, Richie suggested that it sounded like a broken axle and that I should have my local shop take a look. He was very kind to spend time on the phone with me despite the fact that he probably didn’t stand to make any money. He was right, the axle had snapped in half! And it was a hell of a lot cheaper to fix than the tranny.
Though I’ve never technically done business with Dolphin Transmission, you can bet that if I ever have transmission problems in the future, they will be my first call.

Was very satisfied with my service from this facility. They were very patient, honest, and ethical. I have sent family members, as well as friends. Everyone I sent that used them was also happy, and thanked me. Its very difficult to find honest, hard-​working people. I felt that they explained everything as best as possible, and were genuinely interested in helping me out. Not out to just make a buck. Very professional people.

The worst… misdiagnosed my car failed to realize 2nd gear was missing… changed the cable and several governors only to end up still missing 2nd gear… initially was assured by owner/​mechanic «all gears felt and once the cable is replaced should be fine «it took four days to misdiagnose and then offered to rebuild the unit for a grand… are you kidding, a horror no customer service chaos
