Dimas Medical Care PC

I review businesses that I feel need to be reviewed, and that includes medical care facilities/offices.I have been going to Dr. Ratsenberg for 6 years now. At first, I chose him because my insurance at that time was partnered with him, and the office was nearby where I lived. I no longer live in the immediate area but I still go here for my primary care needs.
I have now changed insurances twice and with every new job, I look if the insurance providers work with Dr. Ratsernberg’s office. He’s that good. As a primary care physician, he’s attentive and knowledgeable and I’ve only had positive experiences with him. I’m a 20-​something and it’s hard to find a doctor who is compatible with a younger crows. While his office is mainly full of elderly, I do see young adults more frequently than in other offices and his approach is fitting for just about anyone. My girlfiend had an issue come up and I called the office to ask for an appointment. I mentioned I was a long-​time patient and asked very nicely if there is any way the doctor could see us for ten minutes on a busy Saturday. He accomodated and an issue that could have been much worse had we waited was remedied quickly. That’s professionalism you see rarely in today’s healthcare climate, especially in a private office with a line out the door.
Heads up: Sometimes there’s a wait despite your appointment time, sometimes there is not. Always a toss up.
Side note: A few years ago I tore my MCL playing soccer before a wrestling practice (and further tore it during wrestling practice because I was a tool), and I went to a big-​shot physical therapy center I was unhappy with. I called Dr. Ratsenberg for a recomendation and he mentioned that part of the medical center actually had a small PT office. I switched to Dimas for my PT once a week eventually phased the other place out because the experience seemed to be exceed the old joint. So it’s important to mention that primary care is not the only stop in this shop.
