Specialties
In addition to presenting an interdisciplinary curatorial vision, Devotion houses a comprehensive arts education program and serves as an Ableton Certified Training Center. We know from experience that tools and skills are integral to expression. Each instructor comes to Devotion with years of teaching experience, and class sizes are very small, so expect a high quality learning experience.
We are proud to be the first Ableton Certified Training Center in Brooklyn. Headed by one of the very first Ableton Certified Trainers, you can be sure that we are at the top of any list for learning Live.
History
Established in 2009.
Devotion is owned and operated by artists, musicians, thinkers, and teachers. We know from experience that tools and skills are integral to expression. Not only are we good at our crafts, but we also take pride in our deep knowledge of the technology used in our creations. We are professional students — always honing our skills — and we love to teach.

Business Owner
Brian Jackson, M.A., is one of Devotion Gallery’s founders and is the Director of Education, Curriculum, and Instruction. His expertise encompasses many facets of music, audio production, and education.
Devotion Learn, the educational program at Devotion Gallery, is Brian’s brainchild. Since moving to NYC in 2002, he has taught music production and audio engineering privately and at numerous schools in Manhattan — SAE, IAR, and DMX Touro. In addition to instruction, he was also Electronic Music Program coordinator at SAE, and Curriculum Director at Dubspot. The wide variety of experiences has given him a unique perspective on audio and music production education — he knows what works, and what tends to fall short for most students.
He brings to Devotion 17 years of teaching experience with more than 8 of them focused on audio engineering and music production.
