The broker I worked with was as helpful as she could be, being that she was working for the landlord of course. I saw an apartment I liked but ended up not taking it because the lease used by the landlord (the broker suggested that everyone in the office is using the same lease) was an outdated, out of code (and also modified) 2004 blumberg lease and a rider that basically passed on landlord operating costs to me, the tenant. I’ll also add that the lease and rider were not even proofread before being passed on to me for review. NYC is a tough place — take your time and read before you sign! Several clauses in the lease conflicted with each other and the rider wasn’t legally enforceable (although the broker will have you think otherwise). The out of date lease didn’t even mention lead paint or asbestos (which by law, all apt leases must have this info). KNOW YOUR RIGHTS!

Absolutely professional, very friendly and through company. We worked with a broker named Adrianna and she made the entire apt application a very easy and smooth process. We met her at what is now out new home and immediately were met with such a professional warm kind approach which is something you don’t see very often from the real estate world, especially when it comes to dealing with park slope /​Windsor terrace brokers. Usually feels like your just a number to them. I felt they really did A great deal of research to match the right tenants with what the owners were looking for and vise versa. Never have I been happy or felt justified in paying a brokers fee but this time, the efficient & smooth process matched the cost of services. Thank you again David west properties. I can’t say enough about Gary Richards from davidwest realtors. He went above and beyond with helping me find a place that would be accommodating for me and my family. He took time to explain each step and was extremely helpful and always available when ever I had questions and made the moving process 10x easier. I could not be happier.

I was in trouble and needed to sell my house and relocate, The owners of David West— David and Lily— promised me top dollar and to show me places to move during the process. While I struggled to get the house ready for showing, I was also stopping foreclosure proceedings against my home. I was in a bad place and they promised to get me into a good place to start a new life.
Well, promises, promises as they say. They were only able to get me one eligible buyer and kept lowering the price of my listing until all the other realtors I spoke to were laughing at their incompetence and bad negotiating tactics for listing the house so many months BEFORE the first open house. This resulted in it looking as though the house was a bad buy because Street Easy and other similar real estate listing sites had it up for so long.
It was only because of their best salesperson, Linda Seda, that we were able to get the house ready for showing and sold, She was on our side all the way! Linda went WAY ABOVE AND BEYOND for us and even got us a contractor willing to take his fee on the back end of the sale. She also helped us move boxes and find storage space until we moved.
The owner David wanted to take control and take the sale away from Linda at one point but I told him flat out NO as she worked SO hard for us! The fact that he was willing to knock her off the sale she worked on so hard shows what kind of scruples he has as a salesperson. He promised to show me places and explore neighborhoods with me since February while Linda helped us sell the place but he never did. Linda followed through all the way and is still doing her very best for us as we head toward our closing. She has a heart as big as the world and will go to all lengths possible to help a buyer or a seller!
I am in contract now and out of foreclosure, but thanks solely to Linda Seda and my own negotiating skills. David and Lily, the owners are seasoned negotiators and could have negotiated the sale with their experience but they did not help at all,
If it wasn’t for Linda’s professionalism, kind heart, understanding nature and stick-​to-​it-​ness we’d have never sold the place.
Without Linda, this company’s performance would not even rate one star! The three stars I gave David West are soley for Linda as SHE is their star. All the other brokers I met from that company including the owners were little or no help at all.
So make sure you ask for Linda Seda if you deal with David West. Unlike the owners, she will not let you down!

This RE company is the best. Stuart is the most helpful and tenacious salesperson. He sold my coop in record time and stuck with me to find the perfect new home for me!
