Manager there is nasty and insulting. Not worth the aggravation. Repair tech was friendly though.

If you have problem with your computer don’t bother to fix it, just take it to compustar, ask for any tech. they all are nice people, works fast and very friendly. I returned to compustar a couple of times because they always have what I need. Also they have affordable prices!

I been a Compustar customer for years as the location was convenient and their ink was cheap compared to all the nearby drug stores. I have to agree that customers are treated like transactions. Go in, pay for it and leave. If you don’t mind this (and I didn’t), then it should be fine.
Today I had the most ridiculous experience ever. I bought ink a few days ago. I asked for the return policy. I was told returns are not accepted if opened and to keep my receipt. Nothing else. When I tried to return it, I answered that I found it cheaper elsewhere (those bundle packs from Amazon – which the store didn’t have). She replied that there will be a 25% restocking fee because it’s not like they sold me the wrong item in the most monotone voice ever.
A restocking fee? The item wasn’t even opened, all she had to do is hang it back on the rack. Don’t worry, I DID NOT return it. If this company rather save themselves $ 6 and lose a customer then I highly dissuade people from going there.

When I heard this place was sued by Microsoft a year ago, I don’t think anyone took as much delight in it as I did.
I custom-​ordered a computer there several years back, and thing couldn’t be worse. The power supply was loose (I had to screw it on tighter), the hard drive was busted (I had to replace it several months later) and some of the wiring was wrong (yep, I had to rewire it).
I also had a problem with their Avenue U location a decade ago, and didn’t even realize the two stores were the same company when I shopped here.
