Cleaners Guy

If you live in the area, this guy is the nicest, most reliable laundry service I’ve come across. I recommend him to all of my friends and they’ve been just as happy. It’s super affordable and saves me from lugging my over due laundry bag through the hood to sit in a laundromat for hours.

We’ve been getting our laundry done here with their pick up drop off service, and the first time we had them do our laundry, the laundry turned out OK, but it was difficult to set up a delivery of the finished laundry. For the most part, we got all our laundry back (I think), so we kept using them, but experienced increasing difficulty in getting our laundry back. They were several days late each time, promising us each time that we’d get it that day, which we didn’t. One time we even offered to pick up since we had rented a car for an excursion and was on our way back to the house, but they told us it was out being delivered (wtf?) so we rushed home… only for it to be delivered 2 days later instead. Guess you really don’t realize how important your 2 weeks worth of laundry is until you start getting paranoid that you’ll never see it again. Well, as they say, you never appreciate something until it’s gone, right?
Not only that, but the last two times we received a LOT of other people’s laundry (we called to notify them of some laundry that wasn’t ours and that they could come pick up, but they never did, even going so far as to refuse to let us return it since it «had to be ours») and eventually some of our own things went missing (including my bf’s favorite t-​shirt) so — - guess we need to find a new laundry spot now.
Uuuum and if anyone is missing some striped socks and floral bedsheets, let me know. We received them with our last batch.

Love these guys! My fiancé and I just moved to Brooklyn, and the one chore we both hate is laundry. The first thing I did was search around for a pick up and delivery laundry place, and I am so glad I picked these guys. He came promptly within the pick up window and picked up my bags of dirty laundry and then returned them back to me the very next morning. He even called beforehand to make sure I was available. The laundry was fresh and folded, way better than I could have ever done, and the price is totally reasonable. I will be using this service weekly and I am so happy I found them!

They provided the best service ever! I had a really large order and they were very accommodating to me. I would definitely use them again!

What’s happening to them? or I’m just being unlucky?
I went there this morning in the business hour hoping to alter my suit. but no staff was there except for a senior citizen who spoke Spanish. He told me with broken English that they haven’t been back for 20 minutes. I waited for another 10 min and still nobody was back. So I left. Such a waste of time.
Plus last time, probably won’t go back there again.

I’ve came here years ago when the place looked like an actual cleaners. It was clean and professional looking. The reason why I stopped coming here is because they messed up my Lacoste shirt.
Now I’m back for the first time in years and saw that the inside is completely disfigured. Very dirty, dingy, and appalling. I was shocked at how it had changed.
I was in need of getting my coat dry cleaned from having guacamole all over it from the other night at Arriba Arriba (too many margaritas), so I came here. The man assured me that my coat will have no damages and gave them a second try. Yes, I believe in second chances. maybe even three at times.
When I saw that my sweaters and coat were correctly dry cleaned, I was extremely satisfied. All stains were off and pressed neatly. I will be returning they just need to make the place more presentable.

Vlad is terrific. I have been using Cleaners Guy for about 1 year now and I have never had any issues with my laundry. My clothes are nicely folded, fresh smelling, and packaged in plastic which is then placed into my laundry bag.
Turnaround for laundry is 24 hours.
I would definitely recommend Cleaners Guy for all your laundry needs.

I’ve increased my rating to 5 stars! Last night, Vlad (the owner of Cleaners Guys) picked up my laundry, and this morning I realized that I I left my unlimited MTA card in the pocket of one of my pairs of pants! I called before 9am this morning, and Vlad said that he would check my pockets. I rushed over to the store during my lunch break to be met by Vlad and my MTA card. Awesome!

I feel like I have my own personal laundry service.
They respond promptly to pick up requests. Clothes are delivered about 24 hours later, clean, smelling fresh and neatly folded and packed in a plastic bag.
On a side note, I accidentally put my teenagers shorts in the laundry with his iPod touch in the pocket. Didn’t figure out what happened until hours later. Immediately called the ‘cleaners guy’ (his name is Vlad). He responded after hours and told me he would look into it. I was not hopeful at all and had to deal with a very angry teenager:(
The next morning Vlad called me with good and bad news.
Good news: He found the iPod.
Bad news: It had gone through the wash AND dry cycle.
Vlad brought the iPod to my house that morning and lo and behold it was in working condition! Really appreciated the timely response, going the extra mile to investigate and look for the iPod and the honesty!
