Food here is very good, not too greasy, a step above your local Chinese takeout place. For the portion sizes, the prices are pretty good. Staff is attentive without over hawking tables. I recommend this place!

Just ordered from here, not only was the delivery super fast but the food was amazing. I’ve been looking for a decent grilled chicken with vegetables everywhere and I’ve finally found it. Thank you chopstix

Used to order here on a regular basis as they have solid American Chinese food and fast delivery. This review is based solely on a horrible experience of my wife finding a dead cockroach in her fried rice. We were just thankful she saw it before eating as it camouflages really well into the fried rice as you can imagine. Sorry for ruining your appetite as you read this but this review is long overdue. The only reason they don’t get one star for this is because of our positive experiences prior to this moment, and very nice staff when ordering or eating in person. But we have never been able to eat there since. I’m grateful in many ways as it has allowed us to discover Grand Sczechuan House which has better food overall anyway and is best Chinese spot in bay ridge.

Great food and service. My only major concern is how clean are they? I went there for lunch. Got a glass with ice and my boyfriend got a glass with water. I noticed immediately lipstick stains all over my glass and my boyfriends are well. It was such a gross experience.

Terrible service. Delivery takes FOREVER. They say something like a 45 minute wait meanwhile you end up waiting over an hour and when you call to ask about delivery status, they BS you and tell you it’s on the way just to get you off the phone. Food is bland and overpriced. I paid $ 41 bucks for 3 – 4 dishes and they skimped out on the condiments so you can believe that they DONTOFFER a free drink with your order deal like most traditional Chinese food places. They’re very cheap with the supplies! Didn’t even receive plastic forks with the food.

UPDATE: They’ve gotten worse. Like a jerk, I tried the Sesame Chicken again and they still can’t get it right. Ticks me off cause wife likes Sweet and Sour and General TSO or Sesame Seed chicken dishes. I even mentioned it this time not to over-fry it but they still screwed it up. Now I’m looking for a new place for take out. I tried making my own and it was pretty good but too much work. The whole reason for Chinese takeout is to avoid that. So take my advice and stay far away from their fried chicken anything. Their chef just doesn’t know how to cook it and they use lots of dark tough meat in it as if you’re not going to know when you eat it. They’re expensive so I think they should use only white meat chicken. So one less star this time.

I finally tried their food and will NEVER have it again. I ordered hot & sour soup, pork egg roll, shrimp chow mein, pork fried rice. They pair the chow mein with the fried rice in the same container, which I wouldn’t recommend doing. The egg roll was too soft and doughy. The food is poorly prepared and tasteless, and the quality is terrible. Following this horrible meal, I endured severe stomach cramps and didn’t feel well through the next day. As another reviewer commented, it’s ridiculous that we can’t find good quality Chinese food in Bay Ridge.

Somewhat of a smaller interior than years ago, but the food is just as good as I remembered. Shared a Moo sho chicken and house special fried rice with my homie, and ate it alllll up! Perfect quiet authentic Asian lunch :)

So last night was by far one of the worst meals Chopstix has ever delivered to me. We usually order and have never had an issue but of late the food has been subpar and arriving lukewarm to cold. Last nights meal: sweet and sour chicken, wonton soup, chicken fried rice, sesame chicken, chicken lol mein and beef and broccoli. First off the sweet and sour chicken, let’s break this down… The chicken came so fried and dried to the point it was completely inedible. The sweet and sour sauce had a peculiar aftertaste. Mind you this is a meal I had been looking forward to and it was atrocious. I did call and they did offer to remake the order and driver it which they did. The oddest thing though was that they wanted the charred chicken back. Odd but no problem. The sesame chicken tasted like the sweet and sour sauce and the wonton soup had an odor to it. Mind you I didn’t get to these until after I called about the chicken. I gave up. The only passable part of the meal was the chicken fried rice. Don’t know what been up but I doubt I’ll be ordering from here in the future. Oh two stars because of the fried rice and only the fried rice.

Atmosphere: Very nice, and clean. It gives a good vibe when you’re eating especially when you’re on a date. Food: I had the lunch special: phở soup = a very huge bowl of noodles with beef with a pretty good broth. Price = $ 7.55 By the way: that lunch special ends at 4:00 pm and is not valid during the holidays. Service: Pretty good; waiters were pretty attentive to us and our waiter had a good sense of humor. Bad side? They wouldn’t forget to offer us the extra sides such as ice cream and soup of the day unless we reminded them. But in general = pretty decent

This popular restaurant’s meals are now available to be ordered online using the usual websites, I ordered from here several times and enjoyed each meal. Last night was typical, I tried the veggie dumplings and chicken dumplings and then the chicken in garlic sauce. The food arrived in about a half hour. The chicken entrée had the freshest tastiest vegetables and arrived very hot. The only slight slight demerit is that utensils are not provided, but the delicious food still earns this joint five stars!

I like their food. It tastes really good and every time I order they deliver it fast. I don’t like the way they take your order though. They’re always in a rush and one of the ladies upfront is always moody. Liked the old restaurant layout better!

Just ordered the pan-fried noodles with seafood and I was delivered a container of very bland mushy seafood and veggies floating in gooey white liquid and a container of uncooked noodles. Is this how it’s supposed to be served? If I wanted to cook the noodles myself I wouldn’t place a delivery order and simply bought 99¢ ramen noodles at any grocery store.

Good food if you can actually receive it. Waited over an hour for delivery, called them and they said its on the way. Call back 40 min later and they say they never processed any order. Complete incompetence. ZERO for service

We come here almost every Sunday for lunch. The food is always fresh. Our usual plates are kung pao chicken, chicken broccoli, shrimp lo main, and shrimp tempura sushi. We are always so please with the food, AND the price! You get so much for the low price you pay. The employees are very nice. It can get really cold in there so be sure to have a sweater handy.

I usually order from here while at work, decided today to actually go there and eat there. Worse mistake ever! I really needed to use the restroom so I went to their bathroom. Saw an employee there and checked if he washed his hands. You guessed it. HEDIDNTWASHHISHANDS! Now let’s think about this. An employee handling food, doesn’t wash his hands? What if he has some sort of disease. What if if just filled with smegma. Disgusting. I will never ever go there and I’m going never recommend this place to anyone. STAYAWAYFROMTHISPLACE!!!

They just lost my business and everyone in my company. I ordered three times giving them the benefit of doubt given its hard to be in the restaurant business. Every single time the chicken with Broccoli is drenched with sauce. It looks a soup of sauce with chicken in it. It leaks out of the bag. That is how bad it is. I asked them twice please very light sauce. The girl just says yea no problem and does what she want anyway. Second I SWEARMYLUNCHSPECIALHAD3 pieces of chicken and rice and so did my co workers. I will never order from this place again.

Really surprised by all the bad reviews. Went here with my family on a Saturday evening and everything was well prepared. We ordered spare ribs, mixed dumplings, spring rolls, beef with mixed vegetables and a steamed tofu and vegetable dish. I’m a vegetarian, but I have to say that both the spring rolls and tofu/vegetables were perfectly prepared. Additionally, I found the service to be really impressive. Very nice waitstaff who brought over tea, a pickled appetizer dish and fried noodles with really great hot mustard. Although the restaurant was not completely full, they did seem to have a lot of take out orders. I recommend giving Chopstix a try. Maybe they have changed chefs and management.

Finally tried there take out service last night. We ordered two dishes; soup with vegetables and noodles and Chow Fun. The order was delivered in half the time that they said it would take. To our taste this was the best take out we have had here in Bay Ridge. We’ll be certain to use them again and hope that the quality stays just as good.

I really don’t understand how you can go wrong with Chinese food. It’s one of my favorite types and I almost always order the same thing at every place I try(sesame chicken and fried rice) however this place just didn’t do it for me. I felt the food lacked flavor and the rice had a strange aftertaste.

I’ve ordered from this place before for take-out but I never actually got to dine in and have lunch/dinner. Today my sisters and I decided to go there for dinner and we were greeted politely as we entered the restaurant. A friend of mine has been there before and she told me one of the things she liked about it was that they give customers hot tea on the house while they wait for their food. As I looked around everyone had a hot tea on their table and even seen the waitress bring tea to someone nearby. As we waited for our food we never got our hot tea and I even called over the lady who waits at the register to greet the people that walk in and asked about the tea, what she answered baffled me because as I witnessed myself and was told by a friend was completely the opposite of what she said which was«oh we don’t serve any hot teas here». Oh really? We then asked the couple in front of us what was in their mug and she told us it was the jasmine tea that the restaurant offers everyone. Everyone but us I guess? Why? Was it that we were a group of young ladies? I didn’t get it. If It weren’t for me fasting all day and anxious to eat I definitely would have spoken to the rude manager but I knew she wouldn’t have done a thing! I wish I listened to the recent review left by the person who found a piece of METAL in their food because now I’m never coming back to this rude service and racist place. The Chopstix in located on the other side of Brooklyn is 80% better than this place, the décor and food itself make this place a run for their money. — Thank you Chopstix in bayridge, for a Friday night you guys really sucked and you’re lucky the gratuity was already included!

This place used to be 5 stars but now I don’t know what happened, It’s like they changed the chef. This is the last time I order from them. What a shame, it was the most delicious Chinese food I’ve ever had.

Definitely not the best, but their ingredients are on the better side. The chicken dishes all have white meat and the rest of their meat dishes all seem legit as well. I have had tastier Chinese(love Grand Szechuan) but this place is a good alternative. The staff is very friendly and the restaurant is always clean and presentable.
