I read the favorable reviews and decided to give them a try. When the repair person, Eli, came over he told me that my stuck lock had to be totally changed. He quoted a price of $ 310 which I thought was high, then reduced it to $ 290. When he started to install the new lock set I asked him if he could use the Medico lock cylindas I had and he said no. He told me that if I wanted Medico that the jobt would go from $ 290 to $ 600. He really insisted that it would! He then told me that if I bought the Medical lock cylindas (2 of them) that he would only charge me $ 50 to do it. We did that. After he left I realized that the second door lock had to be rekeyed so that it would work as before with only one key. This isn’t a big deal to do. Eli promised to come over. When he arrived and took apart the lock he claimed that the entire lock had to be replaced for $ 225! This lock was in perfect working order. This is what he pulled the first time with the other door. This time I knew better beacuse this lock worked perfectly well. I insisted that he put the lock back together. Sure enough, once he did it didn’t work. But I knew better. He had pushed in the button on the side of the door so it would appear not to work. Once the button was pushed in it worked fine once again. All the while he was still claiming that the lock was broken and needed to be changed. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE. BTW, YOU CAN BE SURE THAT THIS REVIEW WAS WRITTEN BY A REAL CUSTOMER AND NOT BY THE OWNER.
