This is the place cheap Chinese food dreams are made of. I’m gonna go ahead and not tell you how often I eat here, suffice to say regularly enough to vouch for consistency. I love the lo mein, it’s so good and not greasy at all. General Tso’s is perfect and crunchy, garlic sauce is bomb, and the curry chicken is great! There’s only one or two guys there at any given time, so it can take a little bit, but ours well worth it. Go check it out! I will probably see you there.

Every time I’ve had food from here it was either bad or my order was wrong… worst chinese food ever

it’s just your average neighborhood Chinese resteraunt… I’m satisfied with their Chinese food, and the front desk guy who takes your order is very friendly each time, unlike other areas in Brooklyn… they have tables for you to stay and eat if you Like.

Let me start of saying that my fiancé and I used to like Cam Tak. We ordered there once a week or so and it was one of our go tos. Tonight, we ordered Chicken Chow Mein and Pepper Steak with Onions. When our meal came, it was the wrong order. We were like no big, let’s just call this in and they’ll fix this. The guy was incredibly rude on the phone, denying that he could have mixed up the orders but promised to send out a new order. Forty-five minutes later, we call just to check on the status of it… being super patient since ya know, they are working with our food here. And he said he was not sending our order out and just kept repeating no, no, no, no call again. We are completely baffled. We have ordered here so many times, generously tipped since it’s cold and we always get delivery and been patient when it’s taken up to 1 hr to get our food. Do not order from a business that yells at their loyal customers and says that we don’t know what our food is. The worst thing of all, he hung up on us when we were being completely calm, just wanting our food. This whole process took three hours. Do not order form here if you want an ounce of customer service and the right food.

I always make a distinction between Chinese Restaurants(the places where you get oolong tea and a complementary plate of fried wontons), and Chinese takeout spots(where the rice is yellow/hard as hell, the wings still have bits of feather on them and you have to practically offer up your first newborn in exchange for an extra duck sauce). The reviews of Cam Tak made it seem as if it were a restaurant-style place with takeout prices, which sounds pretty awesome to me. I went in there, and ordered 4 wings and shrimp fried rice, which is the dish that I judge Chinese-American spots on. The chicken was pleasantly crunchy, but tasted regular. The rice looked good at first, but the eggs were overcooked and it was bland. I was a bit disappointed. I’d come back for the wings, though.

I’ve been coming here for years. My favorites are anything with garlic sauce especially the chicken with garlic sauce. If it doesn’t have garlic sauce I will request it be put on the food. The fried scallops, apple sticks and the ice tea are awesome as well !!!
