Bushwick Crossfit

Before Bushwick Crossfit, I wouldn’t be caught dead waking up early to go to the gym. I’ve tried one other Crossfit gym in the past, but stopped going because I lacked the motivation. Now, I have been going to Bushwick Crossfit consistently for a little over a year now, and the motivation, coaching, and results have all been incredible. Not to mention, everyone who goes to this gym is AWESOME, which makes working out with friends something to look forward to!

Prior to coming here — I had heard of cross fit, but always steered away from it because of how intense it seemed and because I had no knowledge of weights, etc. When I moved here, I knew I didn’t want to join Planet Fitness (no free donuts or bagels please), and there were no other good bootcamp options. So I signed up for the elements and learned a few things, and realized it was up to me how «intense» I wanted it to be, or I could alter the exercise so it was easier. ALL the coaches are very knowledgable and show you exactly what to do. I was never lost, and never felt out of place.
I initially came here to just work out and avoid gaining weight in NY, but not only did I not gain weight but I got strong. I honestly haven’t felt more in shape… ever.
You can tell the owner George is very passionate about his gym and everyone who goes there, and he is an overall great person. The close knit community here is amazing, and everyone is very friendly. Soon, you get to know faces, names, and build friendships.
Upon coming back to Texas a few weeks ago — I can say I have already been to 3 different crossfit gyms, and none of them compare. They might be fancier, and bigger (well, b/​c everything is bigger in Texas :)) but I haven’t been able to commit to one after having such an amazing experience in Bushwick. If you are contemplating if Bushwick Crossfit is for you, please try an intro class. You will definitely NOT be disappointed.

Came here with my boyfriend for the free intro class this past weekend. I was an avid CrossFitter in LA and since then have not been able to find a box here I can afford.
This spot is GREAT. Super knowledgeable coaches, awesome vibe and great location. Hoping to become a member here! If you’re new to CF their intro class will really give you a good idea about the workouts and technique behind CF.

I came to Bushwick Crossfit after years of joining different gyms and getting bored with circuit work outs and machines. I always did well when I could afford a trainer but that was never something I could afford on an ongoing basis.
Crossfit is like a small group personal training session. George and staff are very welcoming and make it fun. Your first two weeks you learn the basics and every move is broken down step by step to make sure you get it.
Its a friendly place all the members are welcoming and it feeks like one big happy team. Take one of the free intro classes and you will see what I mean. I love my box!

If you actually want to get results with some of NY’s most knowledgeable trainers, this is your gym. I dropped in today to check it out and was incredibly impressed. There aren’t a lot of establishments like this around any more. Tons of space, great quality bars (rogue), plenty of bumpers, strongman equipment; everything you need to become great.

I have been to crossfit gyms in the past where I felt like the coaches were not attentive and the community was a clique.
Bushwick Crossfit is the exact opposite!!! George the owner is the greatest. Also, all the coaches here are amazing and they really take the time to stay on you with development items. As someone who just moved here I feel like I am truly a part of an amazing community in Bushwick.
Great people, Great workouts and just overall wonderful place!

I moved here a few months ago and have really enjoyed switching over to Crossfit Bushwick.
George and team are really invested in you and your development, the box is easy to get to and has all the equipment you need. Solid coaching, great Olympic classes and welcoming community.
Highly recommend for anyone in area who is new or experienced in Crossfit!

Absolutely the best Crossfit gym around! Epic coaches that are extremely patient and encouraging. Great environment and group of people.

I’ve never gone to another Crossfit gym, but I love this one. Classes are small, coaches are attentive, owner George is great dude. It’s also a pretty chill and non-​shaming environment. Not everyone who goes is a crazy body builder type — it’s mostly folks just looking for a good workout.

Just started going to bushwick crossfit and instantly fell in love with the place. The trainers are awesome, always willing to help you with movements, answer any of your questions and are Very motivational. If your looking for a place to have fun and get into a different kind of workout this is definitely the fucking place!
