Brooklyn Cardiovascular Care is a private Cardiology practice located in Bay Ridge. Dr. Lee Loewinger founded Brooklyn Cardiovascular Care with the goal of providing world-​class cardiovascular care in a neighborhood setting. Dr. Loewinger made the simple observation that many people prefer local, available, friendly physicians to the anonymous, processed feel of large corporate medical practices. They also want access to top-​of-​the-​line medical care and the most advanced technology and knowledge. Dr. Loewinger decided that people should not have to choose between a comfortable environment and confidence in the quality of their care. He founded Brooklyn Cardiovascular Care with a mission to provide the best of both worlds.

At Brooklyn Cardiovascular Care, you will always be seen by Dr. Loewinger, in the office and in the hospital. Patients never have to ask themselves «Who is my doctor?» We strive for maximum convenience and welcome walk-​in patients and last-​minute appointments.

We provide inpatient services at New York Methodist Hospital.

These include non-​exercise nuclear stress testing and transesophageal echocardiography.

Business Owner

Dr. Loewinger graduated from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia in 2003. He did his residency at North Shore University Hospital in Long Island. He received multiple awards for medical research and was accepted into the Advanced Cardiac Imaging Fellowship at UCLA. After completing the Fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Jersey, he worked for two years in a busy practice in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Dr. Loewinger then left to open his own practice in Brooklyn. He is currently seeing patients at his office in Bay Ridge and at New York Methodist Hospital.
