Looks like this club will not re-open after Sandy. It is still closed and phone number 718−372−6878 is not in service.

Are absolutely clueless about customer service. My last choice of place to play. From the bad lighting to rude personnel… take yourself and your kids elsewhere, anywhere.

This club is the equivalent of five long blocks from the subway, and you may be the only pedestrian around, but the reasonable $ 40/hour indoor rate for some evenings and the helpful staff make this one worth the trek. Add that fifth star if you drive and have access to a car. The courts have good net coverage to keep the occasional errant ball from making an inopportune appearance in your game or someone else’s. Despite the bubble, do layer up in the winter.

One of the better places to play tennis in Brooklyn. Bridgeview Racquet Club provides for patrons a soothing ambiance, which greatly aids in concentration during a tennis match. The facilities are newly renovated with approximately 12 hard courts(color = blue, not that it really matters). The surface plays medium pace, resembling that of the former Australian Open surface(Rebound Ace). The staff at this location is ideal. Each of the individual instructors are greatly experienced in the game of tennis and will provide pointers on game improvement. Whether you’re a novice or an experienced intermediate, taking but 2 – 3 lessons would greatly improve your ball striking ability. Best time to rent a court is during the evenings of Friday, Saturday, or Sunday when hourly rates are $ 25 /hour. Overall, I’d prefer going to Bridgeview over any indoor tennis facility in the Brooklyn area.
