Meet the Business Owner

Sung P.

Business Owner

Chef/​Owner, Sung Park was born and raised in Seoul, Korea. Before coming to New York,

Chef Park worked in Korea, Hong Kong and Japan. He enrolled in Art Institute of NYC, Culinary Arts.

After graduation he served as the Chef de Partie

under Chef Jean-​Georges Vongerichten

and also gained valuable experience as Sous Chef under

Chef Didier Virot, Chef Laurent Tourondel

and as the Chef de Cuisine under Chef Wayne Nish.

He is continuously striving for new, bold, and distinctive flavors.

His style is based in modern French cuisine,

with North East Asian influences.

There is always something unique cooking at Bistro Petit!

We only use the freshest seasonal ingredients,

local produce, natural organics, grass fed beef and free-​range chicken.
