I think this place fell off in the past year. I use to enjoy the food. Now I only eat there if I’m desperate for a quick meal and each time I’m reminded why I don’t eat here. The breakfast is especially disappointing.

I ordered a sub with turkey and cheese… For me, the bread has to be fresh and soft. That is where the sandwich failed. My teeth actually hurt right now! I would still come back to try other food. It is a nice clean place. The staff was nice too.

Went in expecting ok food ended up with the worst experience in the last few years. Clean place friendly people but the food would have been fresher and tastier if it had come from a dumpster from behind a food shelter. A recommendation fit for only your worst of enemies.

I’ve been looking for an alternative to George’s, sorry Ted, for awhile now. More specifically, I’ve been looking for a decent burger near my neighborhood for awhile now, so I was delighted to discover Bistro 54. Their name says Bistro, but this establishment is a full blown diner. Their menu is massive. Not wanting to sift through their sea of options, I opted for their bistro burger, fries, and onion rings. 30 minutes later, my food arrives. This is relatively quick considering that I opted for delivery. At first glance, everything seemed rather appetizing. The fries appear to be fresh cut, and the onion rings are made from whole rings, unlike the frozen & grounded down version served at George’s. I reach in for a fry, and here is where everything goes wrong. Due to their poor choice of packaging everything in air tight containers, the fries effectively became limp strings of potato. You’d pick one up and watch it swing around in the air like a donkey’s ****. The same goes for the onion rings. As for the burger, it was dry. I requested the burger to be medium rare and it was clearly beyond that. I haven’t even mentioned the sorry excuse for a bun yet. However, it’s still a bit better than the burgers at George’s, sorry again Ted, so I guess that might be a positive point. The prices might be cheap, but I’d rather pay twice the amount for a decent dish, than pay little for something that’s not very enjoyable. I don’t think I’ll be ordering from Bistro 54 again.

This place has been up and running for months now. I’ve always dodged it because it looked really shady back then. But after few months, I’ve finally decided to drop in for lunch. I ordered a juicy mouth watering Bistro Burger. I can taste all the mushrooms, peppers, grilled onions. It was a pretty good burger and for $ 5.50! You won’t get that @ Five Guys. The Pizza Fries was recommended by my lovely waitress, tasted meh… She promised me it was her favorite from the menu, but all I got was exactly how I pictured it. The fries came drench in tomato sauce and was topped off with mozzarella cheese. Needless to say, the sauce really killed the texture of the fries. My sis ordered a chicken quesedilla. The quesidilla was alright. There weren’t any bells nor whistle going in my mind but sister liked it. The meal came just under $ 20(that’s always a check in my book). Info: The place is a small spanish/greek/american bistro. There’s also the standard specials of the days you can get your quick lunch from, but there is also an extensive menu you can order from. Judging from the menu, they’re serious about their breakfast. There’s about 6 – 8 tables. The servers are all locals(they’re awesome). Will be back for more.
