The best Deli that I have ever been to in my entire life. Flacco & all the other employees, even the store owners are the most coolest & sweetest people ever. Flacco is the man of that Deli though. This Deli has an awesome selection of literally everything & it’s really clean! If the owners are cool with you, they always hook you up. Best Deli in NYC!!! Only negative thing about it is the thirsty b*tch ass clowns that goes into that deli & the broke bum gorillas outside always asking for change. It’s nice that they open the door for you but seriously nobody f*cking asking you to do so. If you’re gonna go & open the door for people then don’t ask em for sh*t, a «thank you» should be more than enough. Ain’t nobody here to support your alcohol & crack needs. If you’re homeless & it’s actually a serious matter then go to a nearby shelter because there are a handful of shelters in every borough; stop asking/begging people for money. Get a job instead of smoking crack, get ya life together & ya mind right crackies. It’s a shitty area of Brooklyn so I’m not even blaming the deli for the creeps that are all over this neighborhood.

Slim, that’s my dude! I’ve been coming here ever since I moved out of my parents place!(Ive always lived in this area since I’ve been on my own) the 3 main guys at the counter are the best! I never have to ask for what I want, they always know! Cheap crack snacks and cheap errthang. Cheapest ciggie spot(i don’t even smoke cigarettes, but all my friends are stoked when I bring em here). Dutches are still a dollar… Nowhere else in this area are dutches only a dollar… Trust me, I know! Im talking legit bodega too, I’m sure there are a few cockroach and rat infested spots that have dollar dutches, but eff that noise! This place is always clean. Whatever, there are derelicts outside, but there are less and less of them every year. As hipsters continue to overspill from williamsburg into bushwick and bed stuy, this area will only continue to improve! Their deli sandwiches are good and cheap as Hell! U can also buy sliced coldcuts and cheese From them. Decent beer selection. They don’t have organic snacks n shit, but this is a true deli. Crack snacks all the way at this spot! Once I bought some stuff and left behind my kitty canned meats… I didn’t realize until I got home(sorry kitties, just dry food that night! Double up on meats the next day!) I figured whatever, I just lost $ 2, no biggie. But the next time I went to this bodega, homie was all«heyyy! U left ur cat food the other day. Go grab 2 cans from the shelf!» Thanks bro! Super cool of u! I’m constantly getting hit on by the weirdos hanging out there, they all apparently wanna ride on my skateboard… But whatever, I usually ignore them. When they keep trying to talk to me, slim usually says something funny like«yo, can’t u see the pretty lady is trying to ignore you bc you are ugly? Dont u still owe me $ 5… Lets talk about that…» Love it! Just like the corner bodega when I grew up in queens!

Really good selection, very convenient, and they get you in and out of there. Sketchy outside but if you pay attention and are smart, you will be fine. Great ingredients in their sandwiches that are delicious. Fast service and reasonably priced.

I legit once saw a guy selling crack in here. Sketchy characters abound, but that’s what you get being at Myrtle and Broadway. Anyway, this place is great because I can get three things I generally need at any given hour at a reasonable price. Basically that’s two loosies, a tall boy of Labatt Blue, and a hot sandwich. All for less then ten bucks? Sold

conveniently close to my house, very large and clean, not a lot of selection but it is open 24 hours. Since its on myrtle and Broadway… a lot of strange people be up in there but prices are good. I don’t like the sandwiches from there.

This store is sketchy, no question about it. There are constantly unsavory characters looming, and I’ve seen employees light-up cigarettes right inside. The interior was redesigned a few years ago to eliminate aisles and create a wide-open atrium style, which I suppose reduced thievery but seems to have encouraged loitering. However you come here for the prices and sandwiches. A six-pack of beer is only $ 9-$ 10, for instance, and I hear the cigarette prices are the lowest around. They make one of the best hero sandwiches I’ve ever had, for $ 4 with virtually unlimited options(don’t worry; I’ve never had an issue with un-fresh ingredients).

someone please explain to me how you can offer boar’s head ingredients in 10-inch subs for $ 4. i ordered a grilled chicken sub with«everything» and got grilled onions & peppers, chipotle gouda cheese and tomatoes. so tasty. this place could put subway out of business if they franchised. they didn’t have some things on the menu, like teriyaki chicken, but at these prices, i’m not complaining.

This place renovated recently, and I finally made my way over when I wanted(1) a deli sandwich,(2) to pay with a credit card and(3) to not have to spend $ 10 to use said credit card. In Bushwick this is a hard feat, but I thought I might try my luck at Big Boy’s. What I found was beautiful. A $ 4 philly cheese steak + free can of soda, no credit card minimum, and a decent selection of beer in a huge, clean space. Big Boy’s could use more stuff both to fill the space and to have a larger selection… it’s like being in a giant, unfurnished room… there are shelves and drink fridges along the walls, but no freestanding racks of food in the middle, and consequently the options are limited. But the NOCREDITCARDMINIMUM is freakin’ awesome in the ‘Shwick. Double plus points for the kid whose picture is displayed on the storefront. I think he’s throwing the peace sign, or maybe a thumbs up, or maybe he’s doing nothing at all.
