I come here often, but only out of pure necessity. It’s simply the closest place to where I live that I can get many of the things I need in one place.
It is definitely true about the milk here that the other reviewer mentioned. I always look at the date and try to get the latest date. Never take the milk in the front of the shelf.
I think things here are overpriced. But that’s the price of convenience.
The service is OK. Never really had an issue with it.

Their produce is market-​priced, not below or over, obviously because of competition across the street and along the block or two. They often sell milk products (cheese, milk, yogurt) left out and away from refrigeration. Just a week ago, I bought a gallon of milk that spoiled 3 days before the stamped on date. This is just further evidence that they do not handle food properly. Also, many times, their on-​shelf products such as peanut butter or chocolate bars are expired. Be very careful when you purchase an item from here with an expiration date. The store is notorious for unscrupulous selling of rotten items.

A relatively big grocery market, selling the basic goods. Quality of their stuff is decent.
Minimum $ 7 for credit cards/​debit.

This place is alright.
It’s weird considering the size of it however, that they dont sell meat though.

I do most of the Fruit and Veggie shopping here. They are not really good more more that. Although they do sell a bit of groceries, they are usually more expensive than the mini Metfood a few block down. They have a great selection of fresh coffee beans.
The most of the cashiers in this place need and attitude adjustment and the manager that walks around in the baseball hat is sleazy.

For this Valentine’s, which unsurprisingly resembled last year’s, the year before, and oh yes the year before that one as well; Which is to say in my own company.
Alas I did not come here to harp on Unilocal about my love life, I came here to write a review (but wait it will all come together).
Sodden with unrelenting disinterest over the Valentine’s day holiday I waltzed into BB with my older sister and picked up the following:
1) Pepperidge Farm Devil’s Food Three Layer Cake ($ 5)
2) Little Debbie Brownies ($ 1.59)
3) Entenmann’s Pecan Danish Ring ($ 2.99)*
4) Entenmann’s Cheese Cake ($ 2.99)*
5) Bread ($ 2.29)**(***)
We then preceded to the check out, and we were rung up by a truly exquisite creature (sarcasm, it doesn’t always bleed through without inflection).
Her dirty looks can’t help at make my sister and I feel like this Turk is silently placing the evil eye on us. It is a good thing that we are impervious to age old curses.
So in the end I soaked myself in a warm bath with my pastries littering the bathroom flloor, their artificial frostings glistening by candle light.
And while listening to my cat yowl in vain for a mate, I pondered: «Well it could be worse».

I have lived in this neghborhood for about 9 months. How is it possible that this is my only option for food shopping. exepnsive, crazed, and no meat section…
