I was referred to this office by a close family friend after seeing how great her results were. She went on and on how amazing their customer service was so I just had to experience it for myself. Let me tell you the staff was so pleasant, professional, and courteous ! I was greeted by a Ms Vera who helped me fill out my forms and even offered me a cup of coffee while I was waiting to be seen by the Hygienist Valerie which then went into detail with Dr Rubenshtein on what I needed to be done. I plan on getting a lot of work done here and I trust it will all be the best of the best!

I felt so comfortable and welcomed from the moment I stepped foot through the door. The staff is friendly and nice I really did feel like I was going to be taken care of throughout my appointment and without a doubt I have. My friend highly recommended this office and I’m glad she did. I sat in a very comfortable chair, I got a soft neck pillow, and headphones to ease my anxiety. The doctors were informative and very passionate. Looking forward to bringing my family here

Customer services is nice but they do overcharge you for treatment you don’t really need. I went to another dentist in the city and they charge way less then this place so I felt I got rip off at this place.

I went to that office for a root canal, I had to pay $ 147 for x-​ray when usually x-​ray is incluse or free. Then they asked me 3600 $ for a root canal treatment. I found the dentists in Manhattan that they asked me just 500 $ for the root canal and 1000 $ for the porcelain Crown! A big difference! Also, all the staff was in the room with me asking for money like vultures. They wanted 1000 $ immediately for make an appointment. That’s why their are friendly. Maybe to someone else! I don’t recommend them!

AVOID AVOID AVOID! Worst dentist office EVER! The doctors are money-​hungry scammers running the most abysmal business I’ve ever had the displeasure of experiencing. I have dental insurance, which they told me they accept, but supposedly only one of the dentists there takes it? Anyway, they seem to have a lot of pride in being the «best» and having the highest quality everything… NEWSFLASH, ya ain’t different. And if they think they can get by with charging what they do??? Like okay, I get you think you’re cool because you’re located in the next up-​and-​coming borough of NYC, but you’re not located on Fifth Avenue and 86th Street, so calm yourself, it’s BENSONHURST.
Mind you, like I mentioned before, there are payment and insurance issues. Dr. Alex only does root canals and his son, Dr. Daniel does the rest, but here’s the catch: Only the root canal is covered by insurance, the rest they expect you to pay out of pocket, which you can probably overhear them talking about in the other room at some point during your visit. Their scrubs should be bright orange, because they’re nothing but criminals trying to suck every nickel and dime out of your wallet. Stay away, save yourself from these bozos, go elsewhere.

Unfortunately, professional ethics in this office not exist. The doctor and his team will «sell» you a dental treatment which will be not the best option for you and will be highly over priced. They treated me as a potential cosmetic case, not as a person. I totally disappointed and I will never recommend this place.

I have been a patient of Dr. Marina for about a year and a half and I have only pleasant experiences every time I go into the office. From the friendly and professional staff to the knowledgeable and skilled dentists and hygienists, I can only say positive things about Bensonhurst Dental Care. I would recommend them to everyone I know and even ppl I don’t. I plan on being a patient here as long as I can. I do not have dental insurance, yet the prices for every service I have received is affordable and worth it.

Dr. Marina is fantastic! She puts you at ease and is very good at what she does. Her office is very modern and inviting. She makes you feel very relaxed. She makes sure to perform a thorough job while keeping you comfortable. The staff is always friendly. All the equipment is state of the art, so there is no scraping away at your teeth.

I have to admit that over the years my dentist and I have tried many different ways to eliminate the staining in my teeth. Ultimately I decided to give laser whitening a whirl, and I went in with no expectations so that I could avoid disappointment. Being that I have always been a little scared of the dentist, I was relieved when I met the person who would be taking care of me. She thoroughly explained the entire process helping me to become at ease with what was about to happen. After the procedure, I was amazed at the looks on everyone’s faces as it seemed to work. They finally handed me a mirror and I was finally convinced that I should have done this a long time ago. After all was said and done, I left with some parting gifts and a new smile. Both friends and family immediately noticed I had done something (without my saying so) and definitely reassured me that Bensonhurst Dental Care did a fantastic job. Thank you very much for the work and a special thank you to Valerie who pretty much held my hand through everything.
